Revamped Augments Visuals and Names

  • Art feels like a downgrade from my subjective pov
  • Before you could check with one glance what augments were on the board since every augment had it’s own look and colors, now you just see yellow, blue, red and then you have to squeeze your eyes to check every illuvial what augment exactly they have.
  • I feel that naturally yellow would have fit better for tank augments and blue for Omege/energy augments

Seamless Augment Relocation

  • Very nice. I wonder if we now not only see last second illuvial location swaps, but also last second augment swaps.

Battle Pass - Season 1

  • I feel it’s good for a first iteration in general.
  • Price for a season seems fine to me. But I feel lower priced for a shorter time-period could attract more people to buy it.
  • Would love to see the drone blast in action in the the battlepass. (Maybe a linked preview vid if it takes too much traffic to directly animate it there)

Ingame Shop

  • Super cool to finally have it in there.

Enhanced Main Menu Experience

  • I like the changes, and it looks pretty clean now.
  • The background animation when I click Arena is still bugged out, and the environment lighting is too harsh on the ranger.

In-Client Notifications

  • Was super needed, since most players don’t engage with the studios social media or it’s discord. Great implementation. (I assume it’s just buggy to not be shown on testnet.)

Boosted Leviathan Bonus

  • We shall see how it works out. I fear it’s way too less impactful and we start slowly ramping it up overtime giving away the first tournaments over the next months. Would have preferred it the other way around, having a big boost and then slowly tuning it down if needed.

Team Planner for Leviathan

  • Great to have that in, was desperately needed.
  • Would like to see some stat filters in the selection window

XP-End Game screen

  • Looking good, but additionally I would like to see the total number of exp gained. Like +2348 exp gained

there's no notification setup but i'll set something up today so people can see how they show

Boosted Leviathan Bonus
The important thing here is we made the bonus out of variables we can tweak a lot faster, so people all test leviathan in depth and share your feedback

What I liked:

  1. The introduction of the in-game shop is excellent.
  2. I’m impressed by the amount of XP gained from matches. I might be slightly off, but roughly it feels like this: playing a Gauntlet Ranked match is comparable to leveling in stage 0 of the Overworld, and playing a Gauntlet Leviathan match is comparable to one run in stage 2 of the Overworld. Kudos to the developers—amazing calculations. Really. Don’t change anything in this aspect.

What I didn’t like:

  1. The “content” of the Battle Pass doesn’t make it very usable yet. I hope this is just a test version to check functionality. The next version should be far more appealing. I want to feel motivated to pay $50 and get something truly impressive. I want the old Dota 2 Compendium level. More levels, prettier rewards. I like the idea of Quants—if you don’t pay for the compendium (Battle Pass), you don’t get access to any tournaments.

  2. When selecting augments, the background around them becomes almost black. This is inconvenient. It used to be better when we could see the background. Sometimes we want to check our synergies before making a choice. Now there’s an extra step—we have to close the selection window and then reopen it. Please restore a lighter background.

  3. The appearance of augments. Maybe the brain just needs time to adapt, but the old augments felt more distinct from each other. The new ones are very similar to each other. I liked the old augment visuals much more. Much more.

🌗 Additional feedback:

  1. Include all events supported by Illuvium, not just IPL. Every tournament sponsored by Illuvium should get traffic from the main menu—this is cross-marketing that benefits everyone. Tournaments by Dreamers Esports, guild tournaments, and all other tournaments should get traffic.
    Exception: tournaments that Illuvium has no connection or sponsorship with—but those are rare.

  2. The Leviathan bonus is really low, almost negligible. We’d like a much stronger boost. Much stronger.

  3. Suggested update for the Leviathan Team Builder:
    We should be able to choose which Illuvials we want to level up and which ones we want to play separately. These should be two different lists.
    For example, if I have a level 60 Rai with poor stats, I want to play and level my level 40 Rai with almost ideal stats.
    The current leveling model doesn’t motivate spending money again to re-level Illuvials, which is necessary for market activity.

Maybe we can tie getting getting XP with the Battle Pass 🤔

So you need to purchase the Battle Pass in order to gain any XP from Ranked and Leviathan. (So you still have to spend some to level up, either via OW or Arena… or you can buy one thats already leveled on the dex)

I was hoping Battlepass had multiple "crates" at differents steps..with a decent number of Xp points..and you just need to choose how you want to "use those crates " on any Illuvial you own to speed up leveling

Absolutely love the ingame Shop....
But would love it even more if there where a "marketplace" for player made Suit/Drone skins as well. Atlas_Love 😁
(Personally I wouldn't even mind if it was only possible to listen them in Fuel, in the "ingame marketplace", if there is any issue linking it directly to the IMX marketplace).

I agree with most of the feedback shared and want to reinforce a few points:

✅ Border artwork
✅ Video transitions
✅ Experience gained and the choice on who uses it
✅ Placement of augments

That said, I see some areas for improvement:

❌ Augment components (color dots) look cheap and generic
❌ Composite augment artwork is too similar, making it hard to distinguish at a glance and costing me precious seconds
❌ Full-screen composite augment view disrupts gameplay flow

If the goal is to differentiate composite from legendary augments, I’d suggest focusing on the border e.g. adding a gold glow for legendary, while keeping the original artwork intact.

tbh i like that new screen in general not so much.
Before it was a good size, close together and a straight. Even if you didn't know them you can check fast what they are about.
Now they are all over the screen, and that ankle on left and right isn't an improvement imo... it kinda feels it doesn't fit the theme of illuvium

I would have preferred as you wrote a glowing edge or whatever to keep the style to illuvium.
