To be honest that Illuvium is the best Web3 game I've ever played. The quality, visuals, and overall gameplay experience are top tier , it truly raises the standard for blockchain gaming. However, there's one thing I feel is currently missing: ingame challenges and achievement-based progression.
To be honest, I really hope the team considers this seriously.
Why?
In many traditional Web2 games, players are constantly motivated by achievement milestones,
whether it’s win streak titles, avatar frames, rank badges, or collectible rewards. These systems encourage long-term engagement and give players meaningful goals beyond just collecting NFTs. ( Peofile tag/achievement unlock)
I understand that IlluviDEX has collector achievements, but for casual or competitive players who are more focused on playing rather than collecting, there's a noticeable gap.
For example, hitting milestones like:
1,000 wins = unlock exclusive title
2,000 wins = unlock special avatar frame
Perfect win streak = unlock seasonal cosmetic
These kinds of in game achievements can offer a more rewarding experience and align better with what Web2 gamers are used to. It’s also a great way to increase retention and competitiveness without relying solely on financial incentives.
Just sharing this from my perspective as a player. Thank you so much for creating such a brilliant game and I hope this feedback helps make it even better.
