I propose that each ranger goes into queue with a weapon and suit set locked. This would;
simplify a bit the game, as you have an idea of which comps you are aiming for
reduce pop up choosing screens (holy there's sooo many of them)
reduce rng
reduce game time
give people something to do (scout each other sets) on the first rounds which theres really nothing else to do
add some personality to each battle
show off and add demand for weapons and suits

Would we get to choose from all of them then before the game started or would the computer choose for us?
I'd say get your own, buy it, choose it, get it in mmo lite. The idea is to keep weapons and suits relevant while desaturating the arena which is a screen popup fiesta
Sounds like a good solution to me.
You would probably still need to give the option to change your weapon during the game to avoid getting locked into a comp
Personally I would like this but I'm not sure that it's healthy for the game
of course we could add some variation, thats also why i mentioned the possibility of picking more than 1 weapon. It doesnt have to be specifically how i explianed it here, im just proposing ideas so that the game is not constantly interrupted by popus and is a bit more fluid
Been thinking about it and I feel all actions should happen in game… so even if choosing weapons up front… still within the session of each game. Keeps things contained and within a framework.
