We wrapped up our very first Last Ranger Standing over the weekend and wanted to say a huge thanks—your energy made it awesome!

It was our first real test run, so we kept things simple with the sit-n-go qualifiers feeding into the live leaderboard. Honestly, it flowed better than we expected and the real-time were great!

But since this is just the beginning, we’d love your unfiltered thoughts on how to make the next one even better:

  • Did the schedule and timing work for you?
  • What do you think about seeing more bracket details—round previews, player stats, etc.?
  • When you watched the stream (or just the leaderboard), what info did you wish was clearer or more front-and-centre?
  • Prize split felt fair-ish, but should we tweak the ILV vs Fuel ratio? Raffle ticket rules?

We definitely want to keep the sit-n-go → leaderboard vibe—but we’re open to ideas.

We’ll gather everything over the next few weeks before the next tournament. Thanks again for helping us kick this off—can’t wait to see where we take Last Ranger Standing next!

Looked like a good event, unfortunately terrible time zone for me! Perhaps you can rotate time zones

  • Schedule and timing were great for me
  • I love data so the more you have the better
  • No feedback
  • I liked the rewards distribution and ratio, some raffle tickets for leaderboard grinders could be fun

  1. Decent time zone for something up to 4 hours time commitment.

  2. No opinion.

  3. Info was clean.

  4. Distribution was fine, if you mean to give more ILV less fuel i'll always say yes to that and no to the opposite.

  5. Please add at least one more game in, you can then have top 32 4 lobbies, top 4 advances, top 16 2 lobbies top 4 advances or you can just do a finals with 32 players bo3 switch lobbies after games, positions based on average score.

  1. Schedule was optimal for most timezones I would say. Ofc, you can't please all but the majority of our playerbase is available during that timezone imo.

  2. More data is always welcome, but not required.

  3. The info was good as it is.

  4. ILV over fuel is always preferred, maybe split fuel rewards into some raffle tickets.

Overall the event was good, but maybe have at least the grand finals be a BO3

The schedule and time suited me.
I also think that sit-n-go qualifying games are a good. But I must note that last time, perhaps, the games were counted for players who started earlier than the allotted time. I didn't watch it myself, but I saw talk about it.
The final maybe should have been held bo3.
Otherwise, everything is at your discretion.

Better to have Bo3 qualifiers and bo1 final than the other way around if it comes to that

  • Schedule and timing were good for me, 4 hours seems to be good.
  • Love that the Scores where updated and shared in live stream.
  • Stream was good. (will be so much better when we get Spectator mode)
  • Rewards distribution and ratio seems good, a raffle between all who participate would be a fun extra thing to add.

The Semi should be BO2 or 3, and Finals definitely BO3.

The top 16 players from the leaderboard should avoid playing in the 4 hour window if possible, maybe not as a rule, but something we would encourage them to do, to not impact results for those trying to qualify.

I think its a really good format, and fun to participate in.

i mean people are grinding for ladder so that's not really a thing

4 hours in a week is not a big deal

#

but i see ppl doesnt care much about sportmaship and fairness

viscid nexus

how is it fair that someone qualifies playing vs noobs instead

frosty badger

@grand notch you could try to lure them into a 4 hours "side-quest" on testnet with some fuel as reward 👀

if you really care about top 16 not playing in the qualifiers, why you not make qualifiers on casual?

ahhahaah right @rose olive

for the same reason i think lol

question is: better 16 on testnet/casual or 50?

i feel you have kind of 3 different characters there.

  • Those who just are grinding ranked at the same time
  • Those who wana farm some points from noobs
  • Those who enjoy other people having a bad time.

First two characters you have eliminated with doing qualifiers on another mode than ranked.
last character you won't eliminate.

Me personally, i don't see any harm being done if those top players play at the same time.
But i doubt you can keep them away with paying them...and you shouldn't.

you can t eliminate last character from life..some humans love to see others having bad times.

@grand notch Dear RichKing,

Thank you so much for organizing the tournament — you ran it at the highest level.

1️⃣ The timing was convenient.

2️⃣ The amount of stats was sufficient, but I think it would be better to adjust the qualification mechanics.
At the stage where only the top 2 players advanced from each group, I would suggest allowing the top 4 players to qualify instead. To accommodate this, you’d only need to add one more game.
Please keep the number of games per stage at 1 — this keeps the event fast-paced and more dynamic compared to other large tournaments where players get exhausted.

3️⃣ All fine.

4️⃣ I suggest adding a small consolation prize for all participants.
Printing a bit of fuel for the game isn't a big issue, but for players, it helps maintain morale. For example: for the top 100 players.
