Hello fellow Beyondians,

Following the successful passing of IIP-69, we committed to reviewing the Wave 3 reward structure at the end of the Wave, with the aim of identifying opportunities for improvement.

In Wave 3, we introduced a new feature: the Wave-Specific Leaderboard.
This leaderboard had a total prize pool of 2,000 ILV, which increased incrementally with every ETH spent.
The entire pool was distributed at the conclusion of the Wave.

This format provided valuable insights into player behavior, and while it showed promise, we believe there is room for refinement.
Based on the results and feedback, we are proposing the following changes for Wave 4:

Updated Leaderboard Reward Structure for Wave 4

The total prize pool remains 2,000 ILV, but will now be split evenly:

1,000 ILV will be distributed as weekly rewards across the first 10 weeks of the Wave.

1,000 ILV will be reserved for the **final leaderboard **standings at the end of the Wave.

The bonus mechanic from Wave 3 will remain:
For every 1 ETH spent during Wave 4, additional ILV will be added to the** final prize pool**, increasing the rewards for top performers.

This revised structure ensures that leaderboard position matters throughout the entire Wave, providing ongoing incentives while still rewarding long-term competition.

Additional Leaderboard-winner Illuvitars
As an additional reward for the final leaderboard standings, we once again introduce exclusive Wave Winner Illuvitars, but this time to ease the pain.. distributed as follows:

Top 5

Top 10

Top 25

Top 50

Top 250** (participation reward)

We believe these changes will make the leaderboard more engaging, rewarding, and strategically meaningful. We’re excited to see how this format performs and hope that Wave 4 becomes the best Wave yet.

I still think paying 100 ILV to 250 ppl weekly is too low.

if we pay on a weekly basis during the wave most players will end up spending that ILV back into Beyond. Paying by the end of the wave most likely leads to players cashing it out.

I would also like to see rewards a bit more evenly distributed and not so much top heavy.

Yeah these numbers come from a point where 100ILV was valued a lot more than it is now. Maybe we can pump it up a bit - i dont know, i also dont want to make it a bigger strain on the treasury.

the narrative of having a pot of gold at the end of the stretch has something nice to it tho - making it act like the other leaderboard is not quite as exciting to me.

i support the suggestion as it is. it benefits the early birds and the late-commers. the atippo is awesome

I think the proposal looks really good. It's a nice compromise to have rewards leaked weekly as well as having the big payout at the end. To go one way or the other I think would be a little dull.

I also think the Atippo looks amazing!
If a tier 0 can look that good it makes me super excited to see the rest of them 7970_Party_frog

My only sugesstion would be to change it to monthly rather than weekly
