BEYOND WAVE 4 STRETCH GOALS SUGGESTION

I was just thinking of ideas and I think it would be a very good system to only reward individual stretch goal reward points to disks that were purchased in ETH

once again give free disks for the following wave as part of stretch goal rewards.......but in order for your disk to to be given points that go towards stretch it needs to have been purchased in eth

right now there is no incentive to purchase in ethereum since you can buy many more disks by converting to SILV2

this will make the overall market much more strategy based and fair and also will help build up the prize pool for when they do the Wave 4 leaderboard (which i assume will be similar to wave 3)

if more people are incentivized to purchase with ethereum then more money will go into the rewards pool

oh really? well that certainly would ruin this whole thing.......or maybe we could make do the same thing with fuel instead of eth.....i dunno....gonna need to know more of what is planned and what tokens

I think this last wave only Promo Disks worked like that yah? Otherwise stretch goals were met from opening disks? I forget tbh

I think the only reason they do promos like that is cuz they gotta pay the promo partner so no freebies

But otherwise idk if it should be like that for everything

the difference would be that you could still buy with other tokens but you just wouldnt get stretch goal points if u did...........if you want to get stretch goal points it must be purchased with eth..............but obviously this entire idea i thought of hinges on if this wave is basically the same tokenomics as last one

with the promos last wave i think you could only purchase them with ETH....so that would be the difference

Hmm... I think in some ways excess supply isn't terrible. It gives people things to play with and hooks. TBH I prob wouldn't have gone so hard on W3 without all the free disks from previous wave. I felt like it was motivation to keep going and put more money in. So idk... just playing devils advocate a bit

Yes I am in favor of more free disks for the next wave......I am saying to get stretch goal points for the rewards that they should make it so Ethereum needs to be used......this way it incentivizes people to have to buy packs in Ethereum to gain the stretch rewards....which would then add money to the wave 4 prize pool because in wave 3 only disks that were bought in ethereum added money to the prize pool

I don't think this would be a good idea - stretch goals points should be rewarded only when you OPEN disk, and not when you buy it. This was changed in w3 since a lot of people in w2 purchased a bunch of disks with silv2, and sold them on market for eth. Than swapped eth for silv2 and rinsed and repeat. one of the reasons w3 had such a excess number of disks (remember, in w2 points were based on purchases). to combat that, in w3, only opened disks count towards points. And i believe this is correct. Only those that choose to open disk actually risk something, and are those that do actual spending .

also, lets say i want to buy disk from market since there i can find them cheaper; how will i know whether that specific disk was first bought with silv2 or ETH (or fuel)?

What we could do is to have a separate counter for purchases in fuel/silv2 and based on amounts some rewards. Not that i like this idea, but i'm trying to play both sides.
This would mean we need some extra resources for development, and question is, do we want that?

that would mean team would have to go back on their word that silv2 would have same purchasing value as eth. Not good.

Most fair is to have it as it is. Only opening disks count.

Added benefit is that with ilv value so low, we could really meaningfully burn through that silv2 supply which is quite burdensome for DAO.
