well. Two-fold topic here. Ideally, it'd be nice if there are a lot of players that play gauntlet and pro scene is flourishing, therefore it will be very little wait during que. Having said that, I personally would love to play OW during the que rn. The que time is quite brutal.

Kinda like the newer pvp que in Wow. Where you would que anywhere in the world for it, when it pops you jump into it, and then once it's done you are repositioned at the same place where u left in the overworld. That would make it smoother even if we have low que times.
But I agree, with Kip because ultimately there will be 1-2 Minutes Que time, so not really worth doing much in the meantime, except it's extremely smooth.
Could be good for high ranked players tho who can sometimes wait 10mins also in big games.

For me it's the other way around. I play Overworld. I would play a bigger arena if I could queue for the arena.

Agree. I quite often sign in to play Gauntlet and then go play my land while I wait. It makes the wait time feel a lot less and I am more patient to stick around.
