This thread is a dedicated space for community members to ask questions directly to Illuvium Labs. The Council will collect these questions and submit them to the team, with answers typically provided within 1-2 weeks. Responses will be posted in the same thread, once Illuvium Labs has provided them.

🔹 Schedule:
Question submissions will open every Wednesday and close the following Tuesday. Once submissions close, no new questions can be added until the next week's thread opens. This ensures a structured process for gathering and addressing community questions efficiently.

🔹 Guidelines:
Not every question is guaranteed to receive clearance or an official response. Additionally, we will filter out questions that:

  • Are unlikely to be answered
  • Have already been addressed in some form
  • Contain malicious intent
  • Are fishing for leaks
    This helps keep the process efficient and minimizes the workload on the Labs team.

Rather than relying on the Council to find questions across Discord, having a structured thread like this ensures that important topics don’t get overlooked and helps prioritize the most relevant community concerns.

Hi!

As we know, in future Gauntlet updates, there will be only one stage of weapons. However, many players have already crafted all three stages, and some of these weapons have outstanding stats.

What will happen to the weapons that have already been crafted? Were the investments in higher stats worthwhile, or will they be in vain?

I've asked this question multiple times, but so far, I've only received speculation. I would really appreciate it if Labs could provide clarity and a definitive answer.

If the level of Illuvials has now become almost useless—since it will most likely no longer provide advantages in Leviathan, and the full release of the MMO is still far off—how will this impact landowners?

Many, having not received the expected profits from fuel, were relying on training bases for Illuvials. But now, their usefulness seems uncertain.

What are the prospects for landowners in this situation?

This is why we started the threads around governance 1-4 changes. As well as one for clarifying council requirements, and then lately one for paying the council in Fuel rather than ILV. The community even brought up pausing pay at all. Or adding a term limit by Jaganite, or the gov V4 document by Dr. Spoon.

These are all considerations to include in the final document.

So, no there hasnt been a complete draft, as there are still a number of things to include that havent been decided on. (Even whether the council should be dissolved or not! 😄 )

For us it isnt yet clear whether it should become a governance V3.1 or V4 document 🙂 Do we want a different council composition or simply specify the roles and requirements for the current council structure.

For now we are looking to change smaller details that continue being valid even with a complete overhaul.

Yeah right now we are looking at around 30 different changes, from small to big that are supposed to improve Gov V3. We wanted to get community input for all of them but seeing how slow that process has been with 1-4, we decided to assign all of them to individual Council members and push for them as fast as possible. The last 3 Months of an Epoch are usually the fastest, an we have to take care to implement all the changes in time.

Is there any plans to bring in some quick, but effective events such as 'The Big Hunt' that we previously had, to keep engagement with Overworld higher and also bring in a small amount of revenue while Gauntlet is being fleshed out/A new dawn is being worked on, or would this event cost (although small) be something you didn't really want to do.

I speak only from my personal experience with those past events and how much thrill it would add to hunting in the overworld right now, while airdrops and things are paused/finished

what is the plan to bring new players on Illuvium univers? This is crucial to think deeply about it specifically with the economic model of Illuvium based on fuels for ILZ, OW.

Answer: Yes, it will come with ADR (Automated Drone Runs), featuring an Overworld Leaderboard plus points for hunting down Illuvials.
