Survivor mode could be an important part of the Illuvium ecosystem, and it wouldn’t take huge changes to get ready.
Currently there are not a lot of reasons for collecting Illuvial’s other than the hopes that high stat creatures might be useful in Leviathan gauntlet one day. We need another reason to not only collect but also level up Illuvials and I think with a few changes Survivor mode could fill that gap at least in a small part.
I’d like to see these changes
• Players get access to every Tier 0 Illuvial (This allows all players to at least try the mode out)
• Players get access to every Illuvial in their wallet (Encouraging players to collect all Illuvials). Also allows players to test and run their favorite Illuvials/combos
• Turn on Illuvial stats and level bonuses (Encouraging players to find better illuvials and level up)
Keep the current round system with progressively harder rounds, but make it way longer (maybe up to 100 rounds). Then give everybody a week to see how far they can progress. This gives players time to push their roster as high as they can, then go back to the overworld find a new Iluvial that might get them further, level it up and try again.
Add a monthly leaderboard that resets every month. Add players weekly scores together to get a ranking.
You could then add incentives, either very modest ILV rewards or even cosmetic rewards or fuel crates.
It wouldn’t take much to get this up and running and it would really encourage collecting and leveling the best Illuvials.
