#ILLUVIAL BURN FOR STATS

Hey there, buddy!
Here’s my personal opinion: the stats of Illuvials should remain untouched. I think the current system of stat rarity is perfectly balanced.
As for the burning mechanics, I agree that the current implementation (e.g., for crafting skins) feels a bit limited. Perhaps there could be an option to burn Illuvials for something that doesn’t affect their stats but makes the gameplay a bit easier. For example, accelerating experience gain for leveling up. This is just a thought, not a concrete proposal.
However, I’m firmly against any changes to the stats themselves.
Could bring a lot of value tho... everything more rare.
Could it be the exact opposite? I mean the devaluation of the current perfect Illuvials.
You require more high value fuel if the price goes up no?
I haven't done precise calculations, but I'm not sure that's the case.
Right now, you need to spend a huge amount of fuel because perfect or near-perfect Illuvials are extremely rare. Most Illuvials turn out to be weak, and every additional attempt requires catching another Illuvial with fuel.
I believe that any reroll of stats would lead to an increase in the number of perfect Illuvials.
And the less unique an item is, the lower its price.
I would like perfect stats to remain either the result of significant effort by players in Overworld or the indulgence of the wealthy.
Put a low % easy.
I think the essence of past discussions around this topic was: if we proceed in this direction, we risk burning through all our assets that might be needed for future ownership-based games.
For example, imagine we have 500,000 players and decide to make a kart racer game where owning an Atlas allows you to play as the Atlas character. However, there are only 10,000 Atlases left on the market due to prior burns.
The second scenario is even worse: the outcome of this burn-for-stats mechanic could result in everything except illuvials with perfect stats being burned, making stats feel meaningless since only perfection remains, while the rest is destroyed.
I have already made the suggestion some time ago, but it was also rejected. I don't understand how the ecosystem is supposed to work if the Illuvials with bad stats are worthless. Who would open packs if only one Illuvial with good stats appears in 100 packs? You could use Illuvium Zero to create training camps for illuvials to improve their stats and at least give land owners some value for their land. and to hold them for a kart racer or whatever in the future, i don't know? and if we get a new wave of illuvials before the kart racer game, which i think will happen, makes the remaining 10.000 atlas even more valuable.
I would like to see something to increase the stats of the illuvials, even if i have almost everyone with good stats!
maybe the answer lies in making the bad stat illuvials not worthless instead of trying to burn them all. Just saying. Ownership should be a thing.
exactly! like two leagues, the one for everybody where stats doesn't matter, and a champions league, where stats count!
exactly... if we put random stat don t mean we are going to have a big number of them perfect stat... less illuvium makes / gives more value ... holding out for a huge cart game idk about that thinking , def something to be done then.
The problem is, that we need almost all units to be compatible in the game, +suits and weapons. and all that you need from the first day on! I hope they will find a way to make everyone happy, but the main focus should stay on to get as many people as possible on board.
Luckily there is already a f2p mode where everything is readily available on day 1.
Yeah, but we are a Web 3 game. it wasn't the plan to have f2p mode, i guess.
