#remove going back to the obelisk/teleport pad when losing/running away from combat

This wastes so much time in a run, and currently I cannot see the reason for this mechanism. If you want higher turnover for each player, removing this means each player can do 2x runs for the same time, minimum.
There will still be those like me who strategise on which singularity to try first, but I would do more runs, which means more fuel burned, and probable more activity on the exchanges.

**Leave battle = defeat **
Defeat is supposed to be a complication and some kind of loss. I think you can be glad that it's just a teleport to the obelisk / teleport and not, for example, the loss of everything you collected / caught.
Going inside battle and immediatelly exit is more of an abuse of mechanics than a game concept. And I certainly wouldn't expect it to be facilitated and supported any longer.

In general, in the future, stats should be hidden again and OW should be made Rogue-like. It is probably not reasonable to expect support for circumvention of the system.
(Displayed stats is still called a BUG, not a feature).

# distant lynx i understand. so for all 50 illuvials in the map that you will check for status...

There is still the equation time : efficiency : money
You can pay scan for save time.
You can leave battle for chceck all stats - but need more time
Or you can check only top Illu and leave others - save time, little less efficiency

You can choose

Answer to you: In T3 map i check stats only in interesting Illuvialls: T3S2+, T4+, T3 H, any DH 🙂
= cca 5-10 Illuvialls on map
Fight with all (I want XP) and sometimes use Ringcut, if there many of this good Illu.

I don't think it's time, gameplay and attractively efficient to check every carablu on the T3 map. And I dont do it.
What big deal you will make with 4x50 carablu? 0,5 USD? Chance is approx. 1:1000 = not time / money effective. No funny. Why do this?

And once the BUG with stats is fixed and they're hidden, you won't have a reason to either. In fact, you're more like admitting to abusing the BUG, which is usually BAN... Yes, what's embarrassing here is that the BUG has been left in the game for almost half a year since it was known... (that's why the fix even exists, as we all know from the last patch)

Running away from the battlefield before a battle is also a defeat... 😎

i get your point. very clear.
i see. so you are one of those guys who want the stats to be hidden and not shown during battle? you must be very lucky in catching random illuvials and always catch good stats even you dont check stats. ok ok
for your last sentence of running away from battlefield means defeated.. hmmm, maybe depends on what game. some games put the escape/leave option during battle but does not show, "you have been defeated in battle".
maybe ill agree here in illuvium, that leaving battle means defeated yes.

Yes, any gave have difference access to leaving battle 🙂

I can't say that I would completely agree with giving stats, but in a rogue-like there will be no more arenas and no more displaying stats. That's how it's presented and I'm counting on it.

I'd like to believe that the game's economy is created and studied by professionals (it doesn't look like that from my perspective yet), who know why they do it and that will include, for example, stats burning to improve the stats of given Illuvials.

Whatever the situation, there will always be multiple game approaches and that's okay in my opinion.
You can check everything, but it costs you time.
You can manually run through the entire map and check the interesting part - you save some time
You can scan and fight only the most interesting ones - it saves a lot of time, but it costs money.

I think that's okay and thanks to that you have more gaming experiences available.

As I wrote, controlling 1000 battlefields for a 0.5 USD gain (4x50 Atlas) is simply not for me and I focus on better monsters. And I only take T1-3 as a side bonus on the battlefield.

The OW game will change, and I don't think it will be an "issue" with the new mechanics, when they get implemented. But completely understand what you are saying, it's pretty annoying to spend lots of time running around, which is why Telepoint beacons becomes your best friend. Placing 3 of them on the map when you are "scouting" dose reduce the time you need to run around with quite a bit 🙂
but again, this way of playing OW wasn't originally intended, and I think spawning at obelisk or Telepoint spots, makes sense from that point of view. Atlas_Love
