Illuvium should prioritize a pooling system for unwanted Illuvitars and accessories instead of relying on a burning mechanism. This approach will enhance engagement and strengthen interoperability.

1. Preserve Value: Burning destroys potential utility. Pooling stores NFTs in a dedicated wallet, allowing them to be repurposed as rewards, retaining value for the community.

2. Reward Engagement: Winners of gauntlet matches receive a guaranteed low-value NFT (e.g., Tier 0 Illuvial and/or accessories). This incentivizes competitive play and ensures consistent rewards.

3. Ensure PFP Access: Pooling guarantees players access to PFPs.

4. Interoperability with Beyond: The system fosters a unified economy by linking Arena and Beyond.

This solution adds an addictive game mechanic that will enhance player satisfaction and drives engagement with both arena and beyond.

Sorry I am not too keen on this personally.

If people are choosing to "burn/relinquish ownership" of either illuvials, illuvitars, accessories etc, without any incentive for doing so, these are likely to be the lowest of the low in terms of desirability and value.

If during Wave 3 for example, leaderboard players received a clown nose and some random non holo tier 0, this would do nothing to encourage participation.

  1. Ensure PFP Access: Pooling guarantees players access to PFPs.

In regards to this specifically, there does appear to be a few reward structures in the pipeline that will either reward D1sks or D1sk fragments to players in both OW and Arena, which will enable a lot of players access to PFP's and the D1sk opening experience, which I think would be a much more exciting and engaging recruitment tool.

So although I like your thinking and coming up with something fresh, it just doesn't quite hit it for me.
