The idea is to implement burn mechanism for illuvials that ppl dont use, so they dont fill the market with useeles illuvials and bring their pricee to zero.... Sthis would be for overvorld, put in there something like oven, like forge, where you could come and dput illuvials you dont need and have no good stats to get some kind of reward, smaller tiers have smaller chance of good revard, higher tiear and stage ofc a bit higher chance to get something, like some randdom item from game, maybe put in there a bit of fuel as revard or master shard as main revard, but those goo revards should have small percentage chance to obtain. somehow to make it randomized with percentage chances to get something 🙂

also for marketplace to put in auctions, so ppl with good illuvials can put on sale there and get bids for their illuvials

I think it would be enough to simply include a system that allows people to increase EXP by synthesizing unwanted Illuvials.

People who don't have time to grind through OW may be able to save time by buying cheap Illuvials on the market and synthesizing them.

Of course, before that there is the issue of how to balance LV and stats...

I think burning illivials for points to use in the Illuvium system.

Example if the pack/s idea comes about you can burn illuvials to get enough points to get a type “x” pack. Making the pack types from common to exotic/black market (thinking rocket league or even better CS) would be dope

Burn for the same amount of XP
that you can put in a flask or whatever, this would allow faster fusions, which would speed up the burn process.

Or/and maybe burn for a currency that you can change in a in-game store vs free cosmetic. But these free cosmetics can be sold in the market. A Christmas hat on your atlas only visible from your inventory for fun. Just a stupid exemple.

We can burn illuvials for multiple rewards, maybe we can choose XP or Rng stuff..

Burning an Holo give 3x more points.
Burning a Dark Holo give 10x more points.

We need 3 Atlas to create an Axon. This is why burning an Axon give 3x more points than an Atlas.

These points can be used for whatever purpose you want to give them.

Any ideas?

I like the idea of getting fuel back for burning illuvials with small chances at master shard, double xp for a small time period, etc

Think my thoughts about Album and Burning for XP, might fit better in this tread, so will add it here. I would 100% support some sort of "burn" to gain XP, especially if we are looking to promote the "card opening" for gathering Illuvials.

I think the Album/Repository, with a leaderboards/rewards, is one of the most important elements that are currently missing.

If this was implemented in similar way as we have it for Illuvitarts with the Beyond Leaderboard Rewards. (and was also tested to some extend in the “test phase”). we could make a system that both incentivises collecting and “burning” more Illuvials. One way it could work:

Your Illuvial has a base point based on Tier and stage, with added multiplier for power level (Traits + level). you collect them in albums and get bonuses for completing sets. you would collect both Normal , Holo x2 points and Dark Holo x3 points.

The points you get is 100% for Illuvials that you catch or obtain from drone runs/opening packs, and from fusing, and you get 70% of the points from Illuvials you buy from the marketplace. (still worth buying high stats Illuvials from the marketplace, but you get rewarded for collecting or fusing them yourself, and it can encourage fusing which is the one “burn mechanism” that already exists).

You can gain XP for your Illuvial by bringing them with you in the OW, fighting in Arena, and by “sacrificing” (burning) an Illuvial of the same type. (you would gain XP equal to powerlevel *10 for the “sacrificed” illuvial, and there would be a max level you can gain by this method)

I think this would make a good foundation for wanting to collect but keep improving the collection. and make a use for Illivials both for fusing and gaining XP.
