#Remove Patch "B" from testnet and focus solely on Patch "A"

Patch "A" on Main net is vastly superior to Patch "B"

Patch B only serves to distract and disrupt literally the best patch Illuvium players have ever received in Patch "A". Patch "A" isn't perfect, but It is by far superior and should have been immediately patched again to remove the broken augments and clean a few things up quickly and we'd be off to the races. Instead, Illuvium produces this second, patch "B" and asks for feedback on it. Splitting the already small playerbase, making us wait to fix the clearly broken augments, etc. This is shooting yourselves in the foot before the race, guys.

We didn't need a patch "B" - Illuvium finally hit lightning in a bottle with this patch "A" and now they want to slow down momentum. NO NO NO NO NO

Stop, take a breath and focus on doing whatever it is Illuvium Labs did to produce Patch "A" and continue down that path.

As a community, let's help Illuvium Labs understand that Patch "A" is IT and let's all move forward in Gauntlet! If you think Gauntlet is IT and Patch "A" is IT, please give a thumbs up below. If you think Patch "B" is better, I'd like to hear why so I can explain why you are unequivocally wrong. 😄 TY.

both patches is fine, and they can be rotate, like seasons: 1 season you play with 1 synergies, 2 - next other become stronger, previous nerfed. 3 - synergies of 8-9. so we can have differed play styles, different meta etc.
with patch B it's probably more variative to play, but patch A also - different way to win.
we can combine 1 with 2, whith this 8-9 synergies if add to patch A - it's give more win conditions as well.
But i agree - we already have good patch in live, no reason delay/slow again to try make perfect - just start with what we have and it will be better that time to time we have different patches, we can adapt to them fast, and our patches not become boring if we have 1 for 1-2 month

I disagree with you both. I don't think rotating between the two different game patches would be a good way to make different seasons fresh. You keep seasons fresh with new rotation of augments/illuvials, not changing the fundamental basics on how the game operates.

I agree with @uneven flare that patch A feels much better to play, but at the same time I also like the impactfulness of synergies from patch B. IMO the optimal end result would be a mix of both patches as both have their strong points.

I agree - we already have good patch in live. So, for a project with a long history of delays, introducing a delay on purpose in an area that no longer needs it, feels bad. Perhaps people are happy with split queue times. I am not. I've been trying to get a game for around 30 minutes now (unsuccessfully). Just two days ago, queue times were great. Now they are horrible again. We had some momentum, now it's all been killed. Of course patch A will be improved, this is just a starting point. And an excellent one. To revert all that is complete insanity. Testnet should have been used to test the hotpatch to Patch "A" for a day or two before deploying it days ago. Instead, we have this Patch B distraction with no forward progress atm. feelsbadman

So just played patch A again, it's way more "on the fly" because you're not chasing 7 or 9 illuvials in patch B. Go for 6 if you want or have a few small comps of 2/3. I think it just works, so you have my upvote.

You touch on one of my favorite things about patch "A" - you aren't locked into any builds during the game and can pivot to another build based on what your opponents are doing or even based on how the shop has been for you that game. I really enjoy the "open" playstyle each game. But, with hard to reach synergies, like level 9 - being a focus (because they are crazy OP) - players get more locked into a build and are simply screwed when the build doesn't pan out because of the investment being so high and the game so deep at that point.
