It will be so easy for players to bring up valid data for the game.
The idea is to create a closed lobby where we can basically bring all illuvins we have to test their abilities, dps, among other things. Almost all games have this kind o lobby and if we had that we could have a better understanding of how impactful stats and lvls really are, with real data. Besides its a great tool to competitive players to plan new strategies and test new ideas.
#"Training zone" with a "Dummy" for players to test omegas, augments, dps, etc.

This can be done in the testnet client.
In mainnet they are trying to reduce the number of game modes, not adding more.
its not adding a new game mod, its just a closed lobby of one that already exist, and the value of it for the community more then justify its creation.
its such a important step going for the competitive scene.
And it should't be hard to build.
I agree and with all the augment cards so we can test those out. Sometimes I feel like Illuvium thinks we are all already pros. If we want to get new players and help retain them then offering them a way experiment and to train is important.
That would be so sick
Do other auto battlers have this kind of training stuff?
Not just auto battlers, lots of games have some kind of similar idea.
It's not really a game mode, more a training ground to battle against an AI opponent (I presume), so that we can test out teams/augments/strategies etc without having to enter the live game modes against real opponents.
Correct me if i'm wrong.
I don't know. It's not like i am against the idea.
I just saw that the current theme of discussion is to have less things to click in the menu
exactly! thats not something to divide the current player base, just a tool to give then more knowledge about the game.
I really like it, and I know what @trim grove is saying, that some of the current topics have been about reducing complexity, but I personally don't feel like this would be distracting or confusing in any way, so long as it was labelled "Training Ground" or something similar, so it does exactly what is says on the tin 😄 . It also doesn't take players away from the other modes, simply allows them to test/train in privacy. Really like it.
While this is a good idea, a training zone for Arena isn't going to be the highest on the prio list while we still have a bunch of other things to do. Consider this more of a mid term priority, rather than short term.
With that training zone working properly all player can test and bring up real data to any patch that may come. It is an
incredible tool for players and for the illuvium team it self. I strongly ask for you guys to really thing about it and seriously consider the manner.
"Training zone" with a "Dummy" for players to test omegas, augments, dps, etc.
We have other tools used internally. A training zone would be purely for players to test things out. And that is super valueable for sure. It's just that we have other things ahead of it in the queue. Like i said, we definitely want to do this.
Got it! Thank you so much for the replay.
