I suggest the following change to the structure of the menu: (see picture below)
This way we will simplify the things, as the first thing people encounter when going to arena it will be if they want to play with stats and levels or not.
This way a free player will go to casual and he knows that everything it interacts in there it will be for free players. Similarly for leviathan players.
I see this as being less complicated. Feel free to disagree.

Now on gauntlet we have : Casual, Ranked and Leviathan
How will people know what if ranked is casual or leviathan?
If we want to implement a ranked leviathan how will it be called? Another rank?
The sugestion above simplifies this as casual and leviathan will each have all the modes

It's not a bad idea.... Alternative to the current grouping of "game modes", I think I could also make sense to group it in "free to play" and Leviathan... it might be easier for new players to understand... you could do it like this (with a little description that, leviathan is where you bring your own Illuvials) 🤔

we need a more fluid transition between screens in the menus. Why do we always have to have a loading screen when choosing an option. I feel that with that change we would have even more loading screens and it's not much clearer. Maybe just an indication that ranked is f2p. It feels overwhelming

I think it groups them better
This way if you are free to play, you click on free to play and get all the modes.
Rn you have to first think of the mode you want to play, and after that search where is the free mode

you obviously don't show all of them at the same time... but select the mode you want and it only show those, and hide the rest.... it was just a suggestion of the concept of a different grouping 🤗
Also not all the modes are currently available, and there is the current discussion to temp. removing some of the modes for now.
