Incorporate in game character/identity into all leaderboards

An idea to incorporate our in game character/identities into all leaderboards across the ecosystem.
This will help to encourage people that are participating on leaderboards to grind or purchase skins to make their character stand out and look better as they will be on display for all to see.
That simple really 😅 .

Aren’t Illuvitars for identities and to stand out?

“Illuvitars are configurable Digital Collectibles that can be sleeved in your personal Beyond Album or used as profile pictures in the Illuvium universe.”

Not sure it’s a good idea to change that. But it would be for sure better if we could show off our Illuvitars more on leaderboards and such.

There is sadly no way to earn more money here from extra skins and cosmetics. But maybe with some special borders or such?

They are but I can't see any reason not to have both, just like in the example shown.
Neither detract from the other.

Land owners would benefit greatly from seeing increased demand on the skin front.
Not all features have to be directly profitable for the DAO, occasionally features that benefit the playerbase will ultimately end up rewarding the DAO.
For example, making land a more profitable enterprise will encourage greater sale prices in future land auctions.
We shoud also see an increase in demand on secondary market which will not only boost sales volume, but also average sale price, making more revenue for the DAO in the short term.

Maybe not into leaderboards then but in the lobby while waiting for your next game or something? You see everyone standing there and you have your character all decked out.

I agree, would be nice to see the rangers and their drones in the lobby for sure. Skins are all about the flex, the more exposure we give them the better.
