Introduction:
The Material Synthesizer is a proposed new building for Illuvium Zero, allowing players to convert basic resources (Carbon, Silicon, Hydrogen) into advanced resources (Crypton, Hyperion, Solon) at a ratio of 1 million to 1. This building enhances resource management and strategic gameplay.

Purpose & Features:

Conversion Flexibility: Convert basic resources into advanced ones (Carbon, Silicon, Hydrogen to Crypton, Hyperion, Solon).
Conversion Ratio: Set at 1 million units of basic resource to 1 unit of advanced resource, maintaining game balance.
Energy Usage: Significant energy cost required, adding a strategic layer to resource management.
Upgrade Path: Upgrading increases efficiency and reduces energy costs.
Impact:

Resource Control: Provides an option for players to handle excess resources and address shortages.
Strategic Depth: Encourages long-term resource planning and adds complexity to the player's economic strategy.
Game Balance: Carefully designed to avoid exploitation, while still offering an essential option for resource conversion.
Conclusion:
The Material Synthesizer will provide Illuvium Zero players with more flexibility and control, enriching gameplay through better resource management strategies.

If you only do this on paid plots then it wouldnt necessarily be true.

And F2P plots would still be unable to send it on-chain.

Im keen to talk about the possibilities at least ^^ how would you suggest bots to game this in the first place?

On the other hand, it keeps looking for solutions in the current frame of the game. Maybe we need something revolutionary that is completely new 😄

# shrewd moss ok sure, if it's only for the paid plots then there is no problem. but then I w...

i guess OP is looking for potential element sinks, which are desperately needed especially regarding the t3 landmark which is at the moment pretty much useless as soon as a plot reaches the midgame.
However, i feel element sinks should be implemented again for science, or other future buildings like podarium, training grounds etc.

What could be potential advantages?

  • Element sink

What could be potential disadvantages?

  • Rebalancing of the different tiers likely needed? (T3 get a massive increase in value compared to other tiers (element landmark))
  • I wouldn't argue it adds complexity instead it makes the early game gets way easier since you have double the opportunity to convert into the needed fuel + more fuel output in general.

What is exactly meant with energy usage?

Best option for element sinks would be pvp, if we train/upgrade/heal troops with it among other things.
