Dungeon Overview

Dungeon Type:Multiplayer Party Dungeon
Players: 4 players
Entry Requirement: Dungeon Key (drops from chests in the overworld)
Illuvial Deck: Each player has 2 Illuvials (total of 8 Illuvials vs. the Boss)
Dungeon Rarity Levels:** Easy, Medium, Nightmare
Boss Mechanics: Boss Illuvial at Stage 3 with high health, various affinities (Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Nature)


Dungeon Script

  1. Entry Mechanics
  • Dungeon Key:Players must possess a Dungeon Key obtained from overworld chests.
  • Party Formation:Players form a party of 4 Each player selects 2 Illuvials to bring into the dungeon, making a total of 8 Illuvials.
  1. Dungeon Rarity Selection
  • Upon entry, players choose the dungeon rarity:
    • Easy:Rewards include any Stage 1 Illuvial.
    • Medium: Rewards include any Stage 2 Illuvial.
    • Nightmare: Rewards include any Stage 3 Illuvial.
  1. Boss Encounter
  • Boss Illuvial: The boss is a Stage 3 Illuvial with high health points and an affinity chosen from Fire, Water, Air, Earth, or Nature.
  • Affinity Mechanics:Boss abilities will reflect its affinity, creating unique challenges for players
  1. Combat System
  • Turn-Based Combat: Each player takes turns to drop the illuvial for make strategy (deck boss arena)
  • Team Strategy:Players must work together to exploit the boss's weaknesses based on their Illuvials' affinities.
  1. Rewards System
  • After defeating the boss, players receive a loot drop based on the selected dungeon rarity:
    • Easy:Choose any Stage 1 Illuvial (random stats).
    • Medium: Choose any Stage 2 Illuvial (random stats).
    • Nightmare:Choose any Stage 3 Illuvial (random stats).

  • Players can only choose Illuvials that are available in one lane (not all Illuvials are accessible).
  • A random selection mechanism can be implemented to create suspense and excitement.

  • Friendship Bonuses:Players can gain bonuses for defeating bosses together multiple times.

  • Implement special challenges during the dungeon run (e.g., timed objectives, specific combo attacks) for additional rewards.

Example Encounter Script

Setting: Players enter the dungeon. A mystical door appears, requiring the Dungeon Key.

Battle Mechanics:

  • Players strategize and take turns.
  • Boss attacks, dealing elemental damage based on its affinity.
  • Players react and use their Illuvials' skills strategically to overcome challenges.

Conclusion
This dungeon system promotes cooperation, strategy, and social interaction, making it a challenging and rewarding experience. Players can form lasting friendships and engage in friendly competition while facing the mighty Illuvial bosses.

What do you think if changing the turn base system, just to drop illuvial for each player make affinity active and Positioning illuvial deck arena? I'm already editing the turn base system

Turn base no lol. WOW/ESO where you need to pick a tank, healer, and two dps yes! I say even add a second lvl hell mode where any of the previous levels can be played but everything is of course way strong here if someone playing a particular role correctly for the mechs, it’s a wipe out
