#In game benefits and incentives for small stakers

I think it would be awesome to have different benefits for small stakers of ILV, by small I mean 1-3 ILV. For example if you stake 1 ILV for 1 year you get a bunch of cool non-pay to win benefits in all Illuvium games. Here are some example benefits I could think of:

Access to exclusive monthly tournaments in Arena. Rewards can be, but don't need to be monetary, can be something like tour of the Illuvium studio or phone call with Kieran to chat about life or something, but can be some ILV, merch, disks etc

Light version of the autoscan for the Overworld, for example after you enter the map you get a notification if there is a DH or Stage 3 or Tier 5 illiuvial, but don't get location or anything else.

Custom border for PFP in arena.

Airdrop point multiplier of x1.01

More slots for emotes in Arena.

Maybe some specific alerts for Illuvidex once we get that far with it.

These are just my examples, better ones can for sure be brainstormed. Don't play ILZ or Beyond so no idea what could be for those. Idea for the benefits to be rather small and not pay to win. If we ever manage to get to 1mil players  and convince them to stake that 10% of supply locked.

I'd definitely like non-p2w rewards to be added to the game, but I'd rather the target be gameplay and quest accomplishments (win 100 arena battles, more story driven quests that encourage exploration of the OW) rather than owning the token or staking. I think incentivizing players to stick with the games and eventually buy illuvials and cosmetics is better than gatekeeping bonuses from non-investors. Otherwise you'll push away gamers that don't invest in stocks/crypto, and every player will be an investor in the game, which may not be great for growth. A lot of assumptions in my response, but things for the team to consider with research and data before implementing something like this.

"Staking Rewards in the form of Account-Bound Items" - Interesting concept...
I don't think adding multipliers to points would be good
But incentives to encourage staking is an interesting idea for sure

# dreamy hawk Non crypto Gamers earn ILV as rewards, instead of figuring out how to withdraw o...

tbh my opinion on a lot of things in the community flip depending on whether or not we are hoping to get web2 gamers interested down the line, and I keep hearing about targeting web2 gamers eventually in AMA's as an aside, but a pause on marketing for now.

If we're sticking to web3 for the long term or we need to focus only on web3 to survive for now, then yes incorporate crypto and staking etc 100% in every way possible because we're all used to it, same with the multiple fuels in OW and frequent purchases. But... if we're planning to market to web2 gamers (to be clear, I mean the ones who aren't in crypto at all) down the line who already hold negative sentiment towards crypto NFT games, I see a lot of decisions being discussed and design decisions implemented that are digging us in a deeper hole regarding their negative sentiment. I'm just trying to think down the line when we have credit card payments and the game is more polished and ready to compete with web2 games, what changes are we making now that's going to hurt growth later. I don't think the masses will earn enough ILV for them to care to learn staking unless they already have an investor mindset.
