Hot topic and i wanna give my suggestion to it!

A gambling feature where you probably going to loose more often then gain Or when you win its bin a EXPENSIVE journey.

First this is a Great fuel sink and we NEED it.
It allows for more OW play and fuel spent and these are two factors that needs love
It allows for better revenue and better economics floor for illuvials
It allows for more perfect stats (more acess for Leviathan players)

You can only Reroll a stat on a illuvial if the same illuvial is used.
Rota for Rota.
Gyro for Gyro.

It has to cost fuel my suggestion is Expensive but appealing. Remember we want players to actually do it to sink illuvials and fuel.

Tier 0-3 (200/200/200) each fuel type
Tier 4-5 (400/400/400) each fuel type
+
Tier gem (like when fusing)

Chance? Right now we have 0-50% with 10% jumps.
So that would leave you 16.6% chance to loose youre 40% for a 0% 😜

Want a discount in fuel price? Add more illuvials (max 3) if you add extra there will always be One more added gem (Max 1) no matter if you add 1-3 illuvials
Tier 1-3 - 20 of each fuel discount for each illuvial added
Tier 4-5 - 50 of each fuel discount for each illuvial added

Example
3x Rota put to Burn (2 extra so 40 of each fuel discount)

Fuel cost 160/160/160
+
2x Air gem (tier 1)

Leave youre thoughts! Thanks for reading my pizza brain! 🍕

I say no to stat re-roll.

waaay too many threads with this. I agree we do need some burning mechanism. But not re-rolling stats.

it seems like we haven't found a way for stat rerolls to happen in a healthy way for the economy. in all scenarios that i've heard so far the end result is all bad stat illuvials "poof" gone, and everything thats left is perfect, or near perfect stats.

i don't think we should discard thinking about this just because a few players have spent money on buying good stats.
we had a lot of people spending on runs and illuvials before we decreased rarity for stage3 and higher tier illuvials. a lot of early adopters lost some money and value, but the game is arguably better afterwards.

The issue is and always has been that we put the cart before the horse.

Illuvium was basically released in an incomplete state (even for an open beta) and we're now suffering the consequences of that. Those who invested in perfect stat Illuvials did so in speculation and trying to hold back development of the game because of doing so is not going to work out well in the grand scheme of things. Many fully developed games have figured out ways to fairly manage oversupply and "consuming extra copies to boost/reroll your main copy" or "dissolving extra copies for material essence" has been a super common staple found everywhere.

Maybe there's going to be a completely different solution to tackle our Illuvial woes, but don't be surprised if it ends up going this way. We have to understand that the economy we have now is based on an incomplete game, and things are bound to change if we want to get to a decent full release state.

the plan was to burn illuvials for skins
