#Allocation prize tournaments for Leviathan and Gauntlet and thoughts on their purpose

Here is my suggestion for Leviathan and gauntlet with potential for Tournaments!

In my opinion Leviathan has to be the Niche mode with Big prize money.
When i say Big prize money I mean Prize per tournament, Top3 gets it all. Lets say the tournament will be Once every season.
Compare that to Weekly Gauntlet with less prize money and more divided.

And of course Hall of fame for both but only for the Prize takers🎩

To be more precise with the prizes i would allocate it 50/50 example:
10k Leviathan
10k Gauntlet (divided by numbers of tours in a season, lets say 4.)

So who can join the tournaments? You need to play ranked mode and have a certain rank from The Previous season.
With this you get players that did ground work to get there. Not new accounts just there to fill, actual players with some knowledge.

One season should be 3 mounths at least so players have a chance to do their thing and dont feel like they miss out, remember this is for everyone (including the mass casuals (boomers) 😝)

Gauntlet would need less rank compared to Leviathan where only the top 25-50 would be invited. Based on witch format that could be played and for how many days the tour would be.
Same for Gauntlet, not sure about format and time. Always in mind
Leviathan for the big prize and Gauntlet more divided and for more players.

And to put it out there.
Rank mode with rewards, profile titles.
Physical items, Pins, Tshirt, Special Edition illuvials for the desktop. Small but fun things, to make people farm ranked.

With ending words i have to say, Leviathan for our whales/hardcore players.
Gauntlet has to be the mode illuvium put their heads in. Make it fair. Make it for everyone (causal). Make it competitive.
Reach out to the masses and not the Niche But dont just make one! 💯

Kieran talked about monthly tournament, i agree it would be cool to have a bigger one at the end of each seasons

  • We should have smaller community ones weekly when theres not an official one

Thats up to @modern pecan the esport manager and the team. But i dont think top 3 only is the way to go

I think we can have both ☺️ Leviathan would be the great tournament with the biggest First placement prize.
Gauntlet better distribution among the top players

Big prize money in the sense, this is the biggest prize illuvium has to show for in one single tournament

I dont really have a number in mind but i wanna say, at a certain number it doesnt really matter how much it is.
If that number is 10k or 50k no idea.

If there would be a 10k prize :
winner 5k
second 3k
third 2k

Gauntlet would have something more like :

1-3 - 300
4-10 - 100
10-50 - 50

Depends how many players we have and how they qualify or if its open. We shouldnt suggest anything as it depends on many things
