Hey guys, I had an idea today about a potential burn mechanic for illuvium.
What if illuvials, suits and weapons had a durability or charge amount, and each time you use them in arena they use up 1 charge. Once all charges are used up they need to be recharged by burning a copy of the illuvial, suit or weapon.
Now i know this may disencentivize people to play arena but if it were coupled with arena token rewards, it would help incentivize those players who want to compete to play and burn stuff to be able to play more.
At the moment, everything is hyper inflating in the market and there isn't much incentive to play overworld outside of airdrop and trying to find high stat illuvials, but the economy would likely benefit from a loop of:
- Play overworld and farm consumables, illuvials mats for suits and weapons (or buy them on mp if you prefer)
2 . Compete in pvp for rewards and use up those consumables

Earn tokens by winning in arena

Use tokens to either restock, or spend time in overworld to restock so that you can compete in pvp again
That's my idea for a game loop. You guys may or may not agree and I'd love to hear some feedback either way.
