I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to share a suggestion that could greatly enhance the experience with the Illuvium website. Lately, I’ve noticed that the site has become a bit heavy and slow. This is in contrast to the smooth experience we expect while playing, where our Illuvials move quickly thanks to our GPUs. However, the website seems to be consuming a lot of RAM and taking time to load.
This reminds me of how Hi5, with its flashy effects, couldn’t compete with the simplicity and speed of Facebook, which was lighter and more agile. Simplicity and efficiency on the web often outperform overly complex designs, and I think the same can apply to Illuvium.
It would be great if the site could be simplified to make it lighter and faster. Think of the design of Facebook, Amazon, MercadoLibre, AliExpress, Tokentrove, Instagram, and Twitter: these sites focus on efficiency, consume little RAM, and offer smooth, fast navigation.
One specific area for improvement could be the transition effects when opening and closing the Illuvidex window in the browser. While it may look visually appealing, it’s surprisingly annoying and can make navigation less smooth.
In summary, my suggestion is to opt for a more straightforward and lightweight web experience, which would allow everyone to enjoy Illuvium content more efficiently. Thanks for considering this proposal! I’m sure these changes could significantly improve the experience for all users.
