Standard non leviathan battle pass 25$ - unlocks rewards playing non leviathan modes

Ultimate battle pass 50$ - unlocks rewards from leviathan and non leviathan modes

Prices can be adjusted if deemed necessary, considering our assets are priced differently compared to web2 and also once we have a clear idea on what the rewards from the pass are going to be and their value.

33% of revenue goes to revdis
33% goes to competitive scene reward pool for leaderboard/tournament prizes
33% goes back to battle pass players, in the form of different rewards based on rank and completion

Pros

  • we already have a ton of great artists, pumping skins and content for battle passes every 3-4 months or so sounds doable
  • higher engagement and stickiness, once you buy the battle pass you would want to squeeze maximum value out of it
  • can partly fund the competitive scene for the future without touching revdis
  • additional revenue for stakers and land owners

Cons

  • skins were supposedly only going to be obtained through zero, but that has been broken already and also limits alot of great possible features for the dao. If something like this goes through, land owners can be compensated with another feature to take into account them not being the only source of skins

I agree that we need some kind of reward for playing daily, like Axie/TFT/LOl and almost Every game in the world, but you need to be more clear in your idea so We can discuss it

Thanks for the input, I usually type the feedback ideas like this, just the skeleton version so people can share their thoughts.

The standard battle pass can be levels 1-100 that you gain XP by playing the ranked modes. Certain high value rewards can be also locked behind rank and leaderboard placements to avoid being bottable. Rewards can be anything from d1sk fragments, fuel, ow consumables, skins, battleboards, part of the revenue generated from the battle passes (if legally possible), different level of XP crates that level your illuvials, emotes, substance. This is what comes to mind, people can suggest other cool stuff which they like. Then these rewards will be earned at different stages of the battle pass, depending on their value.

For the ultimate battle pass, there can be extra 50 levels only unlockable through playing leviathan and achieving certain ranks there. More exclusive version, with higher value rewards that are also harder to obtain. That version can also include 25% battle pass XP to get the full rewards faster that are not rank related.

Would be nice if people downvoting provide their reasoning as I'm quite curious. I think it's going to be a nice addition that besides the extra revenue and competitive incentive, also gives something people can focus on completing day by day as a type of progression system that will complete each other with the leaderboard incentives and bring the immersion one step higher. My 2 cents
