Hey everyone, I wanted to raise an urgent concern regarding the current structure of the weekly and daily airdrop rewards. The way things are set up now, the heavy weighting given to simple daily tasks is much more valuable, especially since players are likely to end the season with far fewer points—more like 300 to 400k instead of the 3 to 4 million points we might have seen previously due to milestones not giving points.
Key Issues:
Botting Incentive: With simple daily quests now carrying significantly more value, botting becomes a much more attractive option. It’s easier and more profitable for botters to focus on completing these simple tasks across multiple accounts rather than trying to progress deep into the game.
Multi-Accounting: The current system might push players to create multiple accounts to farm simple quests for small rewards (e.g., 0.5 ILV on 50 accounts) rather than focusing on a single account to earn larger rewards through meaningful progression.
Suggested Changes:
Focus on Ranked Modes: Deep progression should be centered around making it farther in ranked modes, which require full playthroughs of the game. This not only encourages players to fully engage with the game but also ensures that rewards are tied to genuine skill and effort.
Discourage Low-Effort Farming: By making the rewards for deep gameplay progression in ranked modes significantly more valuable than those for simple tasks, we can reduce the incentive for botting and multi-accounting.
If we don’t make these adjustments, the current system might end up rewarding low-effort, high-volume strategies over genuine skill and engagement. This could undermine the experience for dedicated players and harm the game’s overall economy.
Let’s discuss this, and I hope the team can consider making these changes ASAP to keep the game fair and rewarding for everyone!
