From the get go I have advocated for 6v gauntlet. Easier matchmaking and additional game rotations. Itd be more palatable. Arena is more complex than TFT so making it a direct clone in player capacity doesnt fully translate meaning its harder to keep up with other player team comps. Dont change the gameplay just allow for less players per game and this will become more reasonable to digest and have more frequent and fairer matchmaking.

Or maybe let it at 8 players max, but every player can click start at any numbers of players
If all 5, 6 or 8 players click start, they start at that number, no searching further
