The goal of this topic is to incentivize rewards based on: Rank > Airdrop Points.

There are many multi-accounts with 1M, but there are also many players who have reached 1.3M or 1.5M. Is it fair for them to receive the same amount/similar amount of rewards? While the difference in points (300,000 - 500,000) may not be significant, the ranking certainly is.

The reward should be greater for the top players (players with higher rankings), as is the case in all games.

Another important point in favor of ranking is that it would provide a fixed reward amount for players, allowing them to know how much they could receive for finishing in the top 500-1000, etc. This way, a new player with little investment knowledge (web2 player) who wants to compete for the leaderboard could have an estimate of how much they could earn if they play well by the end of the season.

I imagine that at some point, the rewards will run out, and I believe the best way to distribute them is among players who reinvest in the game and want to compete; thus, ranking is the best option.

I would like to see this IIP beign writen, but i had seen so many discussions about this topic that i'm kind of hopeless to change's people ideas. How many upvotes do we need to send this to the core team?

This is good. Same reasoning could also be applied to arena. Instead of "play 5 ascendant games" just reward top ranking people, let people play as much as they need/want to rank up. Tbh I expect these type of changes for next season, I'm personally not playing another month of "do this, do that"

I think prioritizing lederboard to missions depends on the mode. In arena mode, the ideal would be for points to be earned by lederboard, for example, by your position at the end of each week on the rank mode. Right now you don't even need to buy Illuvials to do the arena mode missions, with the free teams it's enough. This would help generate demand for illuvial, and logically, the arena mode lederboard should be what has the most points, or at least the ones with the most points. Survival mode could work depending on the wave you manage to reach each day. Zero mode can work with a mission system, other systems can be difficult to implement and balance. Likewise, something could be proposed such as, for example, that you earn points according to the fuel you have generated each week, something that would help the players who have invested the most, but it would generate a huge disadvantage compared to normal players. The Overworld mode can work with both, you can create some kind of lederboard based on the number of Illuvials you have captured that season, the ones you have merged, the ones you have in your collection... or you can maintain a mission system; personally, I would prefer a system for overworld similar to the milestones that reset each season.

I suggested a similar think make a weekly quest to Climb the Rank and then reward a end of week bulk amount of points based on your rank from bronze 3 to diamond 1 or whatever the ranks are
