#Publish criteria for evaluating games

Hi All,

I have seen a lot of negative feedback emerging from people who actually seem to have put in a lot of game hours.

Even though I don't play as much as I used to, I think Illuvium is awesome and have produced high quality games.

There seems to be a perception that unless Illuvium can become a job or someone's "life purpose" then it has not achieved its goals.

It would help with putting all feedback into perspective if we publish some specific metrics in a dashboard that we evaluate the game by and can track it over time against other similar games.

This way we can categorically say that if someone played 100,+ hours of OW, 50+ hours of ILZ, with high asset retention, then the game has achieved its goal. It is a good game.

For example:

  • Average hours played per player
  • Average time period players are retained for
  • Average asset value per player (as opposed to spend, the retained asset value would indicate they keep the assets)
  • Review/satisfaction metrics
  • Equivalent industry averages as a benchmark

Thoughts?
