Would it be a good idea to have regular Q&As for communicating with the council? A channel could be set up for this. People submit questions and the most upvoted go to the top with council members contributing to the answers in their own time. It would help with community engagement imo.

It would be great to have a channel to directly link the community to the councils 💯

I think so. Need to think through how it works to not flood the channel. For example - fix a monthly date and questions can be posted in the previous week/day 🤷‍♂️ , always respectful. Individuall council members can answer when / if they have time, and also their level of engagement will help the community know how active they are, without it being time dependent, as a live q&a would be.

I've been thinking the same for a while. I think it would be great if every popular proposal gets a 1h townhall with as many council members as possible. I suggested this in my IMC nomination, but as I came in dead last Atlas_Dead I thought people were not really interested

Well there is the general forum - can easily get stuff set up there

But it is always best to have discussions about proposals or feedback in the channel
Could benefit having a Voice channel for governance with weekly hours or council members pop in there when they have free time like "open office hours"

Thanks for the ideas, will be incorporating this to a list of ideas council can explore in helping to bridge the communication gaps.
