Problem
Gauntlet is not easy to understand which is not good if we want to make a spectacle out of it

Solution
In chess there is an evaluation bar that helps spectators understand who has the advantage and make the spectacle way more intelligible and enjoyable even for newcomers

Calculation can be simple: based on synergies, tier, stages and number of illuvials

It won't be considered as cheating because it will be wrong often enough but it would still be good enough to grasp the overall flow of a game, like a hint, accuracy isn't required

It will make gauntlet esport significantly more entertaining and could give Illuvium an edge over TFT on that dimension

I think this could be an interesting feature down the line for sure but it would require a lot of work

Having it off would be worst than not having it. In chess its easier to implement as the game never change and its a quite simple game

Here when we think who has an advantage theres soooo many things that come into consideration and when theres any sort of balancing we would need to adjust the AI

Im not sure its even realistic for our type of game but it sounds cool. If we ever go down that route i think it should only be once esport is already somewhat established

I don't think that it requires much work as the calculation would be very simple

It is absolutely not meant for gameplay purposes initially, it's actually not meant for players either

It's meant for spectators, but why not making it visible to players if it's just a hint and absolutely not enough to predict who the winner will be 100% but 70% of the time rather

If I have a power level of 1000 and your power is 800, you can still beat me with a good positioning, the right affinities, the right augments or better synergies

If I have 3x more power than you then I'll win 100% of the time regardless of everything else though

Finally since it wouldn't require much work, you could still remove it if you find out that it has more downsides than upsides and not feel like you've wasted a lot of time and resources

A simple, quick and easy to implement idea with high potential
