#Illuvial Sanctuary - A poor-quality Illuvial "sink"

Recently, there was talk of creating "Illuvial Gyms" where Illuvials could be improved or stats re-rolled using Illuvium Zero. Adding to this concept, I suggest the "Sanctuary" building.

Rangers would send Illuvials (the low-stage ones with bad stats - you know what I mean; "dead weight" in your inventory) to the Sanctuary where they would be released back into the habitat. As thanks, they might leave some "Illuvial Aspect" behind at random (definitely not candy). Aspects would be one of the 6 base stats while retaining the tier and stage of the sacrifi-- um, I mean released. Happy, unharmed, and re-natured Illuvials.

Players would use the Aspect in Illuvial Gyms to improve the odds of increasing that stat during training. The level could determine a base % chance to improve that stat while Tier and Stage provide multipliers.

Over time, players could work one of their prized Dark Holo Illuvials toward perfect stats, this way. No gym benefit should exceed the current perfect stats or confer new abilities. An alternative approach would be to have a separate "Karma Matrix" attached to the Illuvial. This way, if the Illuvial is sold, the stat bonus from the previous player's burning of the dead-end NFTs dos not transfer via the marketplace. In this alternative, the karma from releasing Illuvials is "soulbound" and non-transferable to another player.

This mechanism should help shore up pricing for mid-level quality Illuvials by using a game mechanic to burn off the lower-quality ones sitting in inventory.

I like it! One thing I'd change is instead of sending the Illuvial back to its habitat, I prefer to "sacrifice it" (a mechanism burn) ... I'm a little afraid of over population...

That's just lore/explanation. There's a bit of sarcasm in the OP, but the whole point is to burn the NFT.
