#Stage 3 Spawn Rates Changed? Any other changes? Was This In Patch Notes Anywhere? Need Transparency.

Hello,

I have done over 10 runs today, and caught at least 1-3 stage 3 illuvials every run almost. I do like the change overall. Feels more exciting going on runs. Feels like I might be able to actually complete the airdrop capture collection.

What changes happened? I don't see an announcement. If this is not in patch notes, why not? I'd just like to know what the devs are thinking around this.

We need transparency from the team when spawn rates/shard capture rates/balance changes to weapons/illuvials. Patch notes are needed for every major change imo.

For spawn rates, we don't need the exact rate changes, but rough changes should be announced for the playerbase to see and understand for things affecting.

In the last 24 hours, I have caught SEAR, SCORIOX, and OPHISTO!

Although 10 runs is a small sample, 1-3 stage 3 every run is pretty significant. Ive also seen couple ss of the community getting stage 3s yesterday

If something changed it would be important to that the community is aware of it

As far as I understand, our guild also noticed a strong change in this direction. It’s strange that there was no information (announcement) about this. In general, I am surprised by such changes during the season. Yes, it's not prohibited, but it's still strange. We played by the same rules for 2/3 of the season, and now we're playing by new ones.

I think changing the chance of illuvials of stage 3 or higher is a serious change that should not have been released in the middle of the season, and especially without an announcement of this change. I would like transparency on this issue. This will greatly affect both the milestone and airdrop, as well as the market in general.

Yeah, I noticed they tweaked the drop rates, and it's really annoying. It's not cool when changes like this happen without any announcement. They could at least tie it into the game lore, like calling it "Week of S3" or saying the planets have aligned so more Dark Holos/Shards/stones are expected in the coming days. You get the idea.

I really hope this next epoch we can start having full transparency on things and bring the labs, the IMC and the community closer together.

@nimble breach Here's a prime example on what needs to change onwards.
First it was the reduced shard's capture chance, then the land production values and now the drop rates. Why can't the team just be upfront about these things instead of making changes without letting the community know...

It will drive down floor prices for cheaper T1-T3 Stage 3's, though to capture a Stage 3--you'll need to use a ugpraded shard tier typically. But for example, the Stage 5T3 Ophisto was only a 11% chance to capture with a resplendent (avg cost to capture $89, or use master shard (I think $36?). I had to use a master shard... So it's not like Rhampyre floor is going to fall down through the floor due to the cost to capture.

Stats will still be king. Cause you'll have to likely catch 10+ rhampyres before you get with one close to ideal stats--so a good stats rhampyre will still be many times floor price.

The other thing about stats is not just the fuel cost or cost to capture--it's the man hours required to achieve it.

It's going up fast I think. Fuel costs went up massively. It'll likely go back to (whatever is the cost to make) $50 or more I bet. About $30 in fuel + all of that shard dust you have to get = $50 value I'd guess right now.

All shard costs are spiking due to fuel costs rising. Floor price of good stat illuvials will rise as well, likely. If player demand remains strong.

I feel like once again the earliest adopters are getting screwed...

This weekend alone with a hundred 100$, I'm catching more than I did with like a thousand the first weekend...

Look I knew fuel would eventually go down but I feel like we are just getting wrecked...now people can farm airdrop points at a much higher efficiency.

I am in the same situation with spending, but the difference is i still don't get anything from stage 3's. I checked the whole map and still have 4000 energy for mining
I remember puttin around $1000 in the first week and thought this is not sustainable at all 😂

Jauwn was right about one thing in the video, you pay so much for a stage 3 run and you are not even guaranteed to have a good drop.
