Exciting Tournament Events for Increased Player Engagement
This proposal outlines a dynamic and engaging system of events and tournaments designed to captivate players, boost in-game activity, and enhance overall enjoyment.
Concept Overview
Gacha games like Raid: Shadow Legends have successfully harnessed the power of competitive events to engage players, especially high-spending "whales," while also rewarding lower-tier players based on their performance. By implementing a similar approach, we can create a series of tournaments and events that drive both engagement and revenue across all player tiers.
Event Structure
Tournaments:
- Frequency: Tournaments will be held regularly, with varying durations of 24, 48, or 72 hours. These can be standalone weekend events or part of a larger recurring schedule (e.g., every 7 or 10 days).
- Participants: Each player will be randomly assigned to a tournament group with 99 other players, creating a competitive yet intimate environment.
- Rewards:
- Top 10 players will receive rewards, with increasingly valuable prizes for the top 3, and the ultimate reward for the 1st place winner.
Pre-Event Alerts:
- Players will be notified days in advance of upcoming events, creating anticipation and allowing them to prepare. Regular scheduling will help players plan their participation.
