defend mechanic, Deflection. 1. random land plot next door. 2. upgraded ability allows deflection to be directed, further up grades give range. Or if you dont have the power defences you take the hit. Consequence could be something like resource output for 24hrs is disrupted.

definitely a way to add some kind of battle element to Zero. Build defence shields with upgrades catch out the players who didnt prepare.
