#Holos and Dark Holos should have higher stat potentials than non-holos

Currently all illuvials have the same stat potentials, so the only reason people would want a holo/dark holo is for their rarity, and they're not even that rare. I'm currently skipping over most holos I find simply because it doesn't actually feel that rare.

I think holos and dark holos should have a very slight edge over non-holos, for instance holos could have a 55% max cap on stats, and dark holos could be 60%. It could be a cool rare sight where a specific stat can go "off the charts" and past the normal graph (and instead of rolling 1/5 chance it's like 1/6). This makes an actual strength difference and more variability in min-maxing teams for later gameplay. It'd also create a stronger feel of some holos being ultra-rare vs. all of them feeling kind of ordinary.

This would create a higher ceiling in Leviathon as well but not game-breakingly so. You would have players with teams of holos with slightly higher stats that are worth much more on the market, but they could still lose to ordinary teams.

Ultimately this would also drive more fuel demand and usage because people would have higher stat illuvials to strive towards.

I think this idea has potential. Not sure if it would work balance wise. That said, I think maybe a better alternative is that holos/dark holos should automatically roll for higher stats on average, but have the same max cap. Like a weighted system to where all stats would naturally tend to be above 20% on holos and 30% on dark holos all categories as a minimum. Would make them much more valued in the marketplace and when hunting in the overworld for sure.

I think a 5-10% increase in strength wouldn't ruin balance especially if only some holos hit a good roll and are just slightly better than non-holos. A skilled player with an ordinary team could still easily outplay someone less skilled with illuvials that are a small margin stronger

I do think its a fun idea to make holos and dark holos better in some way stat wise. Just not sure about raising the total stat cap, but it is a cool idea to consider. Also, can't do 55%, would need 10% incremental changes. So maybe 60% for holos and 70% for dark holos.

I think if you look at any other games, there's always some slight gameplay advantage to extremely rare variants. Like Shiny Pokemon can breed better moves, "Lucky" Pals are stronger in palworld, etc.

One way they could implement this if they did raise the cap--just raise all existing Holo illuvial stat bonuses by 10% and dark holo by 20%--and then implement a change like this for new captures. So if you had a perfect holo/dark holo right now, it would stay perfect and would just be bumped up, but the totals would be increased with the new changes.

Keep in mind that the stat bonuses also matter less as you level the illuvial up to lvl 60, as the levels add 60% to all upgradable stats at lvl 60.
