Give 3k of each fuel as a daily login. This would allow more options to f2p players and level out the spending and feeling like a run is a loss due lack of good catches and bad rng from harvesting and mining.

Okay okay, to much fuel. But how to get more traffic into the overworld? Maybe only 2k in crypton?? Everyone would still need to buy the other 2 fuels. Or maybe have achievement that would give a small amount of fuels for completion. The DAO could buy the fuel and would help out land owners?

as of right now the missions in overworld seem to be for those with access to stage 1 and above. for me, I'm a player that is currently playing only stage 0 i have no missions to do. it is a bit discouring. hopefully the Illuvioum team can make it more interesting by giving us missions.

also it isn't clear how to continue the story. or sidequests. this would too make it more engaging..

but for now I'll keep playing.

Story mode, achievements, quests, are a better reason to play OW I think...

I still think the team has lost its strategy for OW and its vision.

The OW was made to be a pack opening. Bring that back, the team felt into the overcomplication trap....

  • OW, get rid of the board battle. Just shot whatever you want in the overworld to capture the illuvials and materials. That's your pack opening.
  • add bronze, silver, gold, platinum, obelisk or whatever version of the illuvials with different rarity - this is to expand on the collector side of this pack opening game
  • add the ability to buy packs without playing
  • add a f2p progression by making level of travel more engaging and difficult
  • Build a solo story and multi mmo modes where you use the asset you've captured/bought to quests, FF7-style - this is the important game to look into quickly and deliver in the next 6 months
  • Arena for the tournaments and this chess-oriented audience.
  • Gauntlet and every other game mode oriented multi and tournaments.
  • IZ "the staking game" keep it as-is, stop any complex mechanic about fuel prod and blueprints. Land owner paid the price, make their life easy
  • IZ "clash-style game" build the simple mechanics to make it a simplified CoC, where you don't need ot be land owner
  • Fuel Exchange need to be simplified, it's not working
  • Beyond stay where it is, already complex enough and costly enough to deliver each wave

Having a smart approach don't mean making everything complicated and complex.... Go back to basics, bounce faster and stronger.

why does everyone hate the board battle... It's what gives the game strategic depth and makes it a GAME instead of just a pack opening...

Don't think it's bad. But if we are to think about best way to move forward, I think it's better to dynamise the overworld pack opening and maybe fight with illuvials. And build a proper story/mmo with the battle board.

That's 2 games, 2 objectives, 2 directions.

Rather than trying to mix things up and ending with something over-cpmplex that is nor here nor there.
