#Stage 0/1 Runs Need More Enemies So It's More Engaging and Gives Starter Players a Challenge

I LOVE THIS GAME! Atlas_Love But after hundreds of runs, T0 and T1 players will not find the combat engaging or fun fighting only 1-2 enemies in T0 and 3-4 enemies in T1. They get a team of 8 illuvials to play strategically, but will never be able to use all 8 in a fight. They never find a challenging fight literally ever. This results in boring gameplay. Uninteresting fights. No thought needed.

In addition, the Illuvial XP gains at T0-T1 is practically nothing. How are T0 players supposed to earn the XP required to fuse their fresh T0 stage 1 illuvials? They simply can't, even after dozens of runs they wouldn't be able to fuse even one Stage 3.

It would be so smart for us to give these players a challenge. Sure, there should be easier fights with 1-4 illuvials in the battle for new players to go against for T0-T1 playeres, but there should be matches with up to 12 illuvials even in T0.

Make T0 and T1 players have to think strategically, use their scan to see if they can win a fight with their current set of illuvials, give them a chance at earning more XP to fuse the illuvials they have, and give them a preview of what the epic illuvials can do in combat when they get their ass kicked by the ocassional Umbre or Rhamphyre.

Lastly, I'd suggest making T2 nearly as hard as the current T3 combat (up to 7-12 illuvials, but maybe mainly Stage 1/2 illuvials present), and making T3 even harder with 10-16 illuvials (not every fight has 16, but make it so that you have to bring your A+ list of illuvials to have a chance at winning when there are 16 illuvials, even with power ups). This will make the combat much more interesting and engaging for veteran players, and really force them to think strategically. Current T3 combat is a great challenge for an early game deck, but once you have a good team it is easy to win nearly every fight without much thought. These changew ill make the game more fun and engaging for all players!

I like the T0 part. Maybe have an easy and hard mode for T0, to not make it too confusing for new players.

About T2, honestly think its okay but too expensive. Shouldnt be 3x as much as T1 and I guess travel data shows that people clearly prefer T1 over T2.

I think 375 Crypton is a fair price for T2.

stage 2's in terms of XP are just not worth it when compared to stage 3's

I wouldn't mind a "savage" mode for runs where extra etheral illuvials spawn for bonus XP. Maybe could be a solan sink when starting runs.

Either way the additional free exp will perhaps become an issue. How would you plan to solve that? Just generally cut the amount of higher T0 Stage's Illuvials exp?

There NEEDS to be some low cost form of XP.

XP is tied heavily to Stage/Tier level of the illuvials you are fighting.

Just make the 6-8 illuvials that spawn in T0 fights mostly T0/T1 and stage 1/2. This will give about 1/5 the XP of a Stage 3 fight, making stage 3 runs still the way you way to go for optimal XP farming. But at least the Stage 0's and 1's wouldn't be a waste of time from an XP perspective. Would help a little.

I was talking to a guy who was trying the game out as free to play. He was like how do I fuse my Doka? I told him it's pretty much impossible in the current system if only doing T0 runs... cause it is.

I'm with you tho we need some free exp, for example from overworld combat, quests or raids. Something more f2p friendly than arena exp.
But so effortlessly handing out farmable exp comes with costs.

Upgrading and fusing stage 0 illuvials should be possible for new players or the FTP experience is incomplete. I'll just say that much at least.

Generally speaking also endgame units fully lvled sell higher. Anyone would be running a exp farm bot at some point

If its bots, then even the current small amounts of XP you get from T0 is already a problem. Botting is an issue to keep in mind for sure, but let's face it-the real player experience matters more.

What's the percentage you'd like to have, of overworld fights more challenging?
Cuz if 50% of them are 3x the exp, you'd double the whole runs exp already.

Means going from absolute dogshit exp, to somewhat botworthy.

I mean another point is, any enthusiast can grind some airdrop points and do take that money for his/her first runs. Ofc it's still a month till then and there's early vesting punishment. But still, it's an option.
