Our current airdrop system is very flawed and prone to botting. What if we implemented a leaderboard system where the top 100 or top 500 participants receive larger rewards?

This would introduce competition, encouraging people to spend more and contribute back to the ecosystem. Of course, free-to-play users could still be rewarded, but incorporating a leaderboard into the airdrop process would greatly improve our ecosystem and address the issues with the current system.

Additionally, we could introduce tiers within the leaderboard, where different positions receive different rewards. This would motivate more engagement across all levels of participation.

We could also implement random bonus rewards for active participants, ensuring even those not in the top spots have a chance to win something. This combination of competition and random rewards would make the airdrop system more robust and fair, ultimately benefiting the entire ecosystem community of illuvium!!

I think we should just spend the ILV alloted for the points systems into the economy. We really just did this points system because it was trendy in other places in crypto, there is 0 evidence its the right approach.

We need to start thinking of the DAO as the fed, or a government maintaining their economy. They are going to spend money into certain areas of the economy that produce growth. We should just be looking at "Hey, whats getting us the most users" and pushing the gas there and this should be a fluid process that changes as the game modes get updated.

great idea just worried its a little late to have a change like that, I think they already expressed that having some milestones changed to multipliers is too much dev work at this stage for example
