its a great clear way to interact with a new audience, it would be really helpful if we make these video's for the complete on-boarding process.
With this i mean:
- Create a self custodial wallet.
- Maybe some explanation about what blockchain even is, and why we think its the future for gaming. And perhaps explain that there are different block chains. mainnet/imx in our case.
- Explain/show what ownership means in our world, explain the value add of owning and being able to trade your assets.
- Explain/show the process of a crypto purchase, cex/dex or whatever other providers are common.
- Show the steps needed to get funds on the imx pasport : mainnet, bridge, imx network.
Also i would like a video that explains the workings of our token, governance, revdis, and the idea's behind it.
this will greatly improve our power to help with questions in the discord and it will make us look legit, being a open book about our systems and plans.
ive been reading a lot in the discord, and the amount of times people ask what revdis is, kinda shocks me.
We will be able to link straight to information from the source ''illuvium'', looks trustworthy and the video quality is top notch.
If we really want to make a change in the industry, we maybe need to take a more educational role in this.
i want us to be the 1 stop shop. the introduction to web3.
It might feel excessive to explain some of these steps, we are all in this space for so long that we forgot our 1st interactions with crypto and blockchain.
Its often scary for people, and giving them step by step guidance will greatly improve the experience for a new player, and increases the chance we get a good connection with a player.
if we can avoid people having trouble or a bad experience by losing funds because they did a step wrong, that's a customer saved imo.
lets talk about this, i think its a pretty cost efficient way of building out our image.
