A way to illuvium to comeback!

Alright so Illuvium overworld have a big issue of supply and demand, as you may see prices are going down daily, and they wont stop.

The solution to that and to bring everyone and more players to comeback is:

1 - Make all stages with no costs.
2 - Make all illuviais from T1 to T5 in a way that is very rare to find.
3 - Make all resources from all stages being T0, while you can find a few resources that are from T1 - T5.
(And continue lowering supply as more illuvials are found).

What this will bring?

1 - Everyone will come back to play, including free to play players, and people that invest.
2 - Illuvials will start to raise in price, because they are so rare to find on all stages, that people will actually need them to beat stage 3.
3 - Materials will be very hard to find also, making it hard to craft the shards, in order to get one rare illuvial.
4 - Even having all stages cost 0, every investor will be happy, because the illuvials that they have will be insanely difficult to find.

Its all about supply and demand.
Free to play players will have the drive to start to build up and search for the ultra rare materials and illuvials.
Investors will have a strong community to negotiate with.

I hope this idea is well accepted and that people on the top change those for the longevity of the game.

As theres no supply to start off its normal prices start really high and fall off as supply gets created

You are right though theres no demand and thats because we havent launch the arena competitive scene yet

OW is the pack opening for illuvium arena. Team decided to not start arena at the start because one of the mode will get reworked and the other one was in its first week

The structure of paying per stage is the biggest issue, because after time goes by, with that ammount of illuvials per volume negotiated, things will not make sense
After 3 days for some, things arent making sense

I hope the team considers what i sent here, it will be for the good, will bring a lot of players back to the game

OW is not a game to grind itself, its a loot box gamifed. Its meant to become negative EV in the long run, you get in there to gamble and hope for a jackpot

The goal is to lure players in the arena. Players who want to compete will have to own assets (create demand) and/& want skins and holo/dark holo finish to show off in the game they love to play and compete, arena

I thought overworld was more of a mmorpg fun to grind and to get stronger, but if its a lootbox, all good

i just feel bad that its this way, if my idea would get done, so many more people would join... its sad to be a lootbox, but sure.

Its how it is in the ecosystem. And Illuvium Zero is the city builder game that produce fuel to pay loot boxes

The game is so beautiful and fun that it makes us want to play it but its simply a loot box at its core

Illuvium will build others games in the futur on top of the 3 core one we have now. Overworld has a very good core to be the base of another type of game down the line

Why we need cinematic and lore for lootbox? I think team considers OW more than just it. And I’m pretty sure many players will come for OW experience, not Arena

Theres no volume because everything is supposed to get down + arena (demand) didnt start

I know it looks bad from the outside but its normal

I made an IIP to ensure we dont launch without arena but games werent ready. Its coming, hopefully very soon and everything will be normal

even without demand, supply would be so short, that things would actually have value

Is it me or you have it a bit backwards? Things have value not because the supply is short but because the demand equals or outpaces the supply.

We want the biggest possible player base and that will mean we'll have a big ass supply of illuvials.

They speak about creating all genres of games, but the rpg aspect is underwhelming

the idea here is not to have a low supply. These are the assets that will be used in all the Illuvium games. Their value comes from utility not from scarcity.

Anything free will be botted. No one can stop all bots, particularly if the botters have a human element (e.g. a real person might have 50 bots on their screens and solve any captchas or other 'human' elements). This would literally trend everything to zero within months. Very large down vote.

Demand is the issue not supply.
