New player, an idea from a different ecosystem.

Perhaps introducing a system that allows player to earn future royalties from all futures sales of the items (unless they are burnt). E.g. 1% royalty

Whether this is from crafting a unique rare item, a rare skin or fusing 2 illivums to make a highly powerful illivums (after grinding to breed and evolve it).

This doesn't need to apply to all items.

This should make the game more fun and get more people into crafting/fusion and involved in the different aspect of the game while keeping them hooked in the game longer.

Update:

the royalty stays permanently (to the original wallet) and doesn't change after trades to a different wallet user.

Takes away from revdis. Easy to bot and I’m against all easy siphons

But what could be cool is a tooltip that says who crafted that piece of gear for top tier gear. Eg s5 gear has a small message on it saying created by Matt. Look at black desert online pen gear for an example

Is the idea an addition 1% fee would be taken out each time the item is sold on the market and given back the original player who crafted it?

I have in the past been able to share royalties with multiple wallets (listing/buying/marketplace fees).

To me. It doesn't matter whether it is additional or taken from illuvium current royalty. This can be looked in later.

Id prefer to see the 1% be additional rather than taken away from ilv revenue

Its an interesting idea, what the ecosystem that implemented this @olive mica ?
