🔥 As the game is set to launch on July 25th (just 7 days from now), I believe that marketing will be crucial for its success. 🔥

👉We need to increase social media interaction and reach a wider audience.

Before I get into it I'm very good at 'growth hacking' social media. As an example I grew my TikTok from 85k followers to 140k followers for fun in 60 days a couple months back.

  • Did the same with Twitter in the bull market in 2021 from 0 followers to 100k and simialr with IG.
  • I don't take my personal accounts serious and just stop posting when I feel like it but using the ideas and strategies I have used in the past I believe it could really help Illuvium grow.

⭐️ Here’s my suggestion⭐️

Let's implement and encourage liking, retweeting, and commenting on Illuvium's posts. In return, users could earn daily airdrop points or other small rewards. There are many platforms offering these services, which are easy to use. Alternatively, Illuvium could build it in-house, depending on available resources. This could be integrated into daily goals (e.g., Like 3 Illuvium posts, retweet 2 posts, and comment on 2 posts to receive 50 season points).

Why do this? 🤷‍♂️
Increased reach: Social interactions will boost visibility. Humans are social creatures; seeing numerous comments and likes will encourage more interaction with the brand and create a fear of missing out. This strategy will undoubtedly help us reach more people.
This is an ideal time to implement this strategy over the next 5 months to capture as many people as possible during the airdrop period.

Potential Downsides/Problems ❌
Bots: This is a concern, but we can brainstorm ways to mitigate it. Points could be minimal since the tasks are simple. For instance, players might need to complete a tutorial or log a certain amount of game time per day to be eligible or even verified on the social media platform (these are just ideas)

Hi sam thx for the write up.
Engagement farming was the meta for a few months.
many projects did airdrop for this, starting with portal
however, recently X introduced a new measure to fight engagement farming.
i myself is flagged (shadow banned) for doing this
