guys, i have bad news for you all... but;
we see 27.249 players on Illuvium Game.
so;
i have +350hours, some players have +500 hours, with testnet.
if 15.000 players played 300h,
approximately 450 million points.
right.
today H + DH's points are 800 million points.
minimum S1-2-3 T5 sets = 85 millions.
i didn't calculate other Tier sets but we can say 100 millions.
so; 800+85+100 = 985 millions + 450m (time played) = 1.43 billion points right now.
yesterday i calculated Holos and DarkHolos points are 670 millions. 130 millions increased in one day.
and two days left. if 200 millions collect in two days, we can see 1.65 billion points end of the month.
so:
we will earn >
if we've 165 million points, we will earn 140k$. (total reward 1.4m$)
" " " 16.5m > 14k$
1.65m > 14k$
165k > 140$
16.5k > 14$
////////
If the 100 points per hour bonus is removed or reduced by 75%, the estimated airdrop distribution will be as follows:

I removed the 450 million points entirely, and the result is <<<<
; if 985 million (now) points collected>
if you have 98.5m points, you will earn 140k$
9.85m > 14k$
985k > 1.4k$
98.5k > 140k$
9.85k > 14$

I made a 75% reduction on the 450 million points, considering Jaganite's suggestion to the community and the team, and the result is:

985m (points accumulated to date) +112m (450/4) = 1097 but we can say 1.1billion points.
right now;

if you have 110 million points, you will earn 140k$
11m > 14k$
1.1m > 1.4k$
110k > 140k$
11k > 14k$

You see the possibilities. Make your voice heard! Thank you for reading.

Please decrease "time played" (100 points per hour) points or fully remove it.

Thank you, @river totem , for creating a calculated holo-darkholo point table today.

Thank you, @sturdy cipher , for calling upon the community to consider a rule change regarding this issue through ICCP-XX.

Thank you for conducting and sharing your analysis. Here is @harsh pawn 's analysis:

The problem that you don't seem to realize is why we all get money.
We get it to test features. The tested features are capturing, holos and the bounding curve, not how much time you dedicate to the game.

Where you See that 15k people played 300h on average? Sounds Like a wild assumption...
You realize that if you decrease time ased AP you basically increase h/DH points impact?

#

Also in my Personal experience the share of AP/h is Way lower than AP/asset... In your calc AP/h is Like half the AP/asset.
That would mean the average player gets 200AP with illuvials/h which is suuuper low 😄

yes you will get more points but your gain will decrease

Ask the Team for data and redo the calcs, you will see.
Changing AP structure based of assumptions isn't the Way to go anyways

# terse coral You have gathered 35k AP in illuvials in 350h?

Why are you mixing up the Illuvials? My total points are over 1 million, but if you've seen my account, with 1 billion points collected, 300-500 million points will come from the hours played. This means that the airdrop points will be affected by at least 30%.

# terse coral So in your own experience you have 1m+ in assets and 35k in timebased ap? And in...

Okay, I'll explain one more time. You can see the calculations above, right? Let's assume the average playtime is 200 hours and there are 20,000 active players. This would make 400 million points. Today, the total points for Holo and Darkholo Illuvials are 800 million. If we add the T5 sets, this becomes 900 million, and if we include the other T4-3-2-1 sets, we can say there are 1 billion points. The problem lies here: if 20,000 people played an average of 200 hours, this means 400 million airdrop points. Right? I hope your math is good; 20,000 x 40,000 (x100) = 400,000,000. So, adding 400 million more to the total captured Illuvial points of 1 billion gives us 1.4 billion points in total, right? Yes.

Now, let's say for example (just an example) someone with 1 million points earns $1,000 (calculated from 1 billion points). If we calculate from 1 billion points, 1,000,000 / 1,000 = 1,000. This means 1,000 people will receive $1,000. Right? Yes.

So, let's conclude: what if the points become 1,500,000,000?
If there is a $1.5 million reward;
I'll calculate it both ways for you:
150m - 100k$ // 100m - 150k$
15m - 10k$ // 10m - 15k$
1.5m - 1k$ // 1m - 1.5k$

Do you understand, my friend? People would need to earn 500,000 more points to get $1,000. The difference is 50%. Let's say I played 500 hours, my points are 1 million, the bonus I would get from 500 hours is 5%, but the overall effect on the points will be 100%. 500(x100)x2000. I won't extend this topic any further, I'm going to sleep soon. I hope you understood.

thats asuming what 7 hours a day, every day average?

#

i don't think average is even 2

prime eagle
# spiral storm the average playtime is not even close to 200h, unless you have a source?

I've done some research on this topic, and there have been 5,000 people playing since the testnet. This information was officially shared by the Illuvium team. At least 5,000 players have been playing this game for 2 months. Additionally, I have obtained maximum efficiency. I asked dozens of people who play this game, and some said they played for 400 hours, while others said 150 hours. Honestly, everyone I look at has played the game for at least 150 hours. This is above average, and although it is not "official," it is based on estimates. Since we are talking based on estimates, there will naturally be a margin of error of 10-15%, maybe more? We cannot know. We are only 2 days away from seeing the real data.

You don't think so, and I don't think so either, but as I mentioned above, this is just a maximum estimate. I kept the playable hours at the maximum and estimated the potential airdrop points at the highest level. My estimate is 1.5 billion points, with a 10% margin of error. In 2 days, when you see 1.5 billion points, will you thank me? No. Just read and leave the chat. There's no need to prolong the discussion.

Can't wait for the 1st of July when we finally have the snapshot and we stop seeing these "look, I came up with another clever justification for how I should receive more money from this airdrop!" threads.

I don't know about the play time, but I'm amazed by this part: "130 millions increased in one day."

@prime eagle i really appreciate what you have done.
i think the players have extensively raised their concerns.
i personally have too.
unfortunately, i dont see a path where it's going to be changed.
The team has decided to tally the points tomorrow, and move on to part 2 of pre season.
The points proposal was revised to look forward too.
i just hope for a better system going forward.
