My idea is simply to increase the points earned by the original tier sets by 4x - 5x. I don’t think reducing the points from the holo airdrop by 10x is a good measure, as many suggest. New players in the game should be encouraged to play, and in other proposals, they mention that holo/dholo points should be reduced by 10x.
Players from Private PB4 had an extra month to farm and grind Illuvials, without ethereals and with master shards costing only 80 shard fragments. (They had 1.6-1.7x more time if the airdrop ends close to the game’s launch, in an efficiency that new players won’t have.)
Personally, I would prefer only a 4x increase in the points for original sets. For example, a T5 set would be worth 16,000 points instead of 4,000 points. It’s a good amount, considering it’s much easier to complete a full T5 set than a T5s3 holo. People would also go back to hunting normal Illuvials (without being holo or dark holo), and new players would still be able to play, even with the advantage of players who have been in the game for a month. The choice between 4x or 5x is debatable, but I’ve given my reasons above.
