Introduction

Recent exploits in Illuvium's capture point system allow unfair teleportation to holo and dark holo illuvials for quick farming. To restore fairness and balance, we propose switching to a playtime point system.

Tracking Issues

It's difficult to track illuvials on the blockchain. Honest players who bought illuvials and cheaters who transfer illuvials to top players to get them banned complicate things. This makes it almost impossible to separate fair play from cheating.

Fair and Balanced Rewards

Switching to a playtime point system means rewards are based on actual time spent playing. This is fairer and removes the luck and exploitation factors. It rewards commitment and effort, not quick hacks.

Enhanced Gameplay Experience

A playtime system focuses on genuine gameplay and diversifies the play experience. Players can enjoy different game modes like Arena and Zero, knowing they’ll earn the same rewards. This balances rewards and lets players explore various aspects of Illuvium without feeling forced to farm.

Conclusion

Switching to a playtime point system fixes exploits, ensures fair rewards, and enhances gameplay. It’s a clear, fair change that benefits all players. Vote yes to support this change and help make Illuvium fair for everyone.

Unfortunately this can be botted way too easy. Real players with 1 account would get very little rewards while botters running a bunch of accounts would take the majority of rewards. I'm pretty sure it is the reason the devs made play time only worth 100 points per hour. They knew that if it was big, people would bot a lot of multi accounts.

Playtime is actually the easiest to exploit, especially when the anti-afk rule is known

ideally it should give points to ingame action like catching, leveling, mining, harvesting, winning matches.
we do have points system in OW why are we not using that

maybe we should try delaying the airdrop event for now.

this will drastically affect those call centers' decisions about farming this or not.

delay and make proper measures. maybe assemble a team for pentesting, integrating software banning systems, etc.

wachu guys think?
