#Waiving $ILV compensation for an NFT

What if, at the end of the testnet phase, you could waive the $ILV compensation and instead were allowed to keep 1 NFT that you captured during the testnet phase?
I have to admit that I haven't thought this through completely. But there are a few points that led me to this idea:

  1. With the introduction of holos and dark holos, I think the scoring has gotten completely out of hand. 1M points for a T5S3 Dark Holo is complete madness. That's the equivalent of 10,000 hours of gameplay or more than 1 year of UNINTERRUPTED gameplay. That is no longer reasonable. Normal players (and people who prefer farming to hunting Illuvials) no longer have any chance of getting a serious amount out of the testnet phase.

  2. if you catch a special Illuvial during the testnet phase that you personally like a lot (e.g. a holo that is particularly beautiful), you might want to keep it rather than get a few dollars in ILV tokens (which you are most likely to immediately throw on the market to make cash anyway). Of course, the same applies to other things, such as a special armors or a Mastershard or something else. For many, this would probably be much more valuable (not necessarily just financially) than the ILV compensation.

  3. when I see how the top players have 300 hours and more and get a compensation of a few dollars for it, it turns me off. I have a full-time job and can never play that much. But if this amount of time invested leads to so little compensation, then the compensation in $ is no longer an incentive for many. It would be different if I knew I could keep one of the things I got during the Testnet-phase that I particularly like, because that would be an incentive independent of the time invested.

As I said, I haven't thought this through completely and I don't know whether it would be technically feasible or how it would affect the economy of the game.

But I think it would provide additional motivation for many and there should be nothing wrong with that.
