There is one aspect of the recent update that I find unacceptable. Why did you introduce Illuvials that cannot be captured?

The primary objective is to capture Illuvials, and I see no point in introducing enemies that cannot be caught. This action significantly diminishes the enjoyment of the game, and I believe it should be reverted immediately.

The other updates are within acceptable limits.

Please make efforts to develop an engaging game.

This ethereal illuvial feature was planned since a long time and was already in test phase in the testnet build of illuvium on Epic

They also made a community poll and most wanted its introduction in the overworld

This feature solves 2 problem

  1. With ~12 illuvials per encounter it was way too easy to catch higher tier ones

  2. To not give out too many higher hier illuvials the enemy team composition had to be filled with little weak illuvials but to be strong enough they had to boost them a lot with encounter mods. This didnt feel natural

Now with ethereal we can fight real illuvials and they can even have composite synergies

I think we should somehow gamify a way to capture 1 of the etherials at the end of the battle if we win. Poker machine style where they are all in the machine, we push a button, the illuvials spin and if we get 3 matching we catch it.
