I suggest we add an option to enter a region on HARD MODE, were all encounters have enemies lvl 20+. (but they go back to being low lvl on the capture screen).
This way, stages 0, 1 and 2 specially wont feel like they are insanely easy, don't give good enough xp and become useless over time. I want to go on a stage 0, 1 or 2 run now and have all encounters with 12-14 creatures at lvl 20 to have at least some fun, for example.
And we need different ways for lvling up our creatures, like the idea of having a gym on illuvium zero land. The way it is, fusing (a VERY IMPORTANT BURN MECHANICH for the nfys and economics, and also fun to play around for the average player) takes way too much work for stage 2 to 3 especially

my brother had a nice idea on leveling and fusing tbh that while having the level for all illuvials to fuse is nice and consistent, it would make more sense to be more like pokemon and have weaker illuvials be fusable at lower levels and t3 4 5 have higher and higher level requirements. Also agree that some more level variation or hard/experience farming mode would be good to speed things up not any crazy amount necessarily. Just something more reasonable. With eventual npc and questline integrations things like gyms and other events could and likely will come so not too worried about that being missing for long

Bonus xp for beating a team that has a higher avg level is a common and I think relatively well liked system too

If it's easier to do so, you can just change xp formula for each tier/illuvial too so higher tiers require more xp to level up

The difficulty of encounters is highly based on the total mastery points (number of illuvials). The XP we gain is also depending on the total mastery point of the enemy team

Even if we would change this and make the level (xp) of enemy illuvials affect the xp we gain i dont think we can play with the mastery points like this and have full 12 illuvials team in lower stage runs 0-1-2

Tier 0 we start with 2 illuvial to be able to beat 2 illuvial encounters with ours + ranger. If they had more illuvial we would need to start with more illuvial ourselves and more team slot right away. I like how we start with few and have to capture our own illuvials, then when you feel strong enough with 4 illuvials you can try stage 1 run etc

Of course with money, especially infinite sETH you can progress much faster and at some point it doesnt make sense to do anything less than stage 3 runs but thats mostly because we are all sepolia 🐳
