And rewarding.
There's currently not really any content for casual gameplay.
The Arena mode is after all, a pay2win PvP experience.
The grind for Arena is a pay2play experience(yes you can T0 but at certain rank you will hit the paywall).
And that's fine, some will love it.
But where's the casual fun?
I'd say Raids is the only actual chance of onboarding casuals.
You farm your team even if its T0, you join the raid with friends and some randoms, kill giant and epic bosses and get rewarded.
That sounds like a nice casual experience.
I honestly think Raids should be the main focus after launch and if successful be treated like a live Service, being Updated frequently to amuse the casuals.
- make raids epic
- live service style for at least 6M
- hourly execution
- free2play
- rewarding (Ilv exp, non-chain loot)
- grindy, have different stages getting harder each
- Have the first players to beat endboss XYZ engraved in an ingame Monument
Just having a teaser trailer ready for launch, saying "prepare your team for the raids" would do a lot already.
This way theres something to grind for, for those that aren't too interested in arena pvp.
just casual action stuff.
